Throat Spray

Aurena Laboratories throat spray is a saline or seawater solution based spray aerosol for irrigation and cleansing of the throat. The spray produces a mechanical washing effect of the tissues in mouths and throats. It soothes and prevents sore throat symptoms by alleviating swelling and congestion of the mucus membrane and washing off excess mucus that is formed in the mouth and throat due to colds and allergies.Compared with oral rinses (saline gargles), oral sprays are more effective in coating the oropharynx allowing for rapid relief of symptoms and reducing the need for antibiotics.

The spray is free of preservatives, and contains extracts of aloe and chamomile in the solution that prove effective in treating non-complicated pharyngolaringitis, both bacterial and viral.

As a bag-on-valve aerosol, the spray sealed inside the bag is never in contact with the propellant, compressed air or nitrogen, and is kept sterile throughout the entire shelf life, even with frequent usage.

Since the propellant is not flammable, it is classed as a non-flammable aerosol, which offers advantages regarding safety, transportation and storage.

Packaging: Standard can sizes are: 50, 100, 125, 200 and 250 ml.

Individual carton boxes, with or without leaflets are also available

for can sizes up to 125 ml.

Presentations: Both sticker labels and preprinted cans can be used.

Labels can be provided with a tamper seal. Preprinted cans are recommended for quantities of
