When you choose the Auping Original box spring, Aupingperfection is what you get. This perfection is expressed in Auping’s unique Active Ventilation and Support system (AVS®), in which the optimal interaction of the various materials in the box spring base and the mattress results in maximum ventilation and perfect support.

The Original box spring consists of a mesh base that is made from spiral-shaped steel wires that are tightened

in a robust steel frame. The 80% open structure of the base means the underside of the box spring has access to clean, fresh air. The mesh base also has more than 10,000 pressure points that support your body during the night and distribute your weight evenly. In combination with Bonell springs and a ventilating top layer, the Original box spring is the perfect base. As a matter of course, the matching Auping mattresses also off er best ventilation and maximum body support.

Tip: all fabrics can easily be combined. For example, choose diff erent fabric textures in the same tints. Here the fabric Molly 199 dark brown chalk was chosen for the headboard, the fabric Molly 160 off grey for the mattress and the box is upholstered in Molly 161 off brown stripe.

Footboard Siena

Enrich the Original box spring with Auping adjustability - there are many diff erent positions available. Adjustability gives you extra comfort when reading or watching television. You also benefi t from an adjustable bed while you sleep.

One option is the wireless (RF, radio frequency) handset which enables you to adjust the bases at the same time or separately. The buttons on the handset light up in the dark.

Choice of diff erent upholstered or regular mattresses

You need a good mattress in addition to a good base. The defi nition of a good mattress is very personal. Individual factors like your height, weight and any physical ailments play a role. Auping mattresses are tailored to your personal desires with regard to structure, fi rmness and zoning. The core of our mattresses consists of DPPS® pocket springs. They give your body precisely the support that it needs so you can sleep comfortably. All mattresses are available in an upholstered version.

A top mattress gives extra comfort; the mattress cover off ers extra softness and warmth, but a top mattress has more functions. It protects the mattress underneath and is available with a washable cover. A double bed size top mattress covers the seam between two individual mattresses so it becomes one entity. In combination with upholstered mattresses, it is easier to fi t sheets around the top mattress. Several top mattresses are also available as split-top mattresses; this enables you to adjust both bases separately.

Diverse accessories complete your Original box spring. For example, with a special set you can easily make a double bed box spring separable. Ideal for making the bed and cleaning the bedroom. The LED reading lamp, with an energy-effi cient LED light bulb, has a fl exible arm and can be adjusted to

any position. Our decorative pillows, ottoman, night stand and bedside table combine nicely with an Auping box spring due to the materials and colour schemes on off er. You can choose standard legs or decorative legs, which will make your box spring look even more attractive.

Our multifaceted fabric collection, which consists of more than 130 colours and textures, means you can customise your box spring and give it the look that you desire. Our fabrics are high-quality and they feel very pleasant and comfortable. They look luxurious and were designed with a durable character.

Auping works closely with fabric manufacturer Kvadrat. Their latest development is the fabric Revive, which is made from recycled PET bottles. The fabric Molly is also special; it is a woven, undyed and unbleached sheep’s wool fabric.

Whether you choose smooth or coarser materials, a solid or duotone weave, exuberant or softer colours, when combined these fabrics bestow a contemporary, comfortable and inviting feeling.
