We would like to introduce you to our summer interns from Pio-

neer High School. Sonya Morgan of Arcade and Russell Bunte

from Chaffee have each spent two days a week during their sum-

mer vacation helping out in the Chamber office.

Sonya will be a senior at Pioneer and is interested in becoming an

accountant and is part of the Finance Academy. Russell will be a

junior and is interested in owning his own business and enjoys

computer work.

They have both been a wonderful help with everything from data

research, filing, cleaning, organizing, and keeping us on our toes.

Thank you very much Sonya and Russell for spending the time

with us and we wish you both the best of luck as you begin school

next week.

Smiles Sundaes

Thursday, August 7th saw the CA$H MOB

wonderfully successful evening filled with not

only “Smiles” and “Sundaes” but also laughs,

visits with friends (both old and new),

delicious ice cream combinations, that was

topped off by our gracious hosts Warren and

Denise Pirdy and their amazing staff.

Thank you to everyone that joined us and en-

joyed the tasty treats.

Stay tuned for our September CA$H MOB on

The Pioneer Marching Band has been doing a Paper Drive for over 30 years. This Fundraiser,

which benefits the students in the marching band, is a great way for the students to earn money

for trips to Syracuse for State Finals, field trips, and band clothes. But, the paper drive is in

jeopardy of being cancelled. The marching band needs to bring in more paper.

In order to help maintain the success of the paper drive, The Marching Band is asking for any

support possible. The paper drive collects more than just news papers! Please see the listing

below. The paper drive is the first Saturday of every month. The Pioneer Marching Band would

be very grateful if you would help contribute by saving paper. Any questions please call Connie

Wilking- Bunte at 716-870-5601

From our friends over at Beaver Meadow. Check out this great event coming up:
