Wednesday, August 6 : Depart USA Depart from the USA on overnight flights to Rome.

Thursday, August 7 : Rome | Sorrento Arrive in Rome and depart for Sorrento. Check into hotel with free time to freshen up before one-hour choir rehearsal for singers. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Dinner hosted by your Italian escort. Overnight in Sorrento. (D)

Friday, August 8 : Sorrento | Pompeii | Performance | Sorrento Departure for Pompeii. Visit one of the most important and interesting archaeological museums in the world. This famous ancient city was buried by the ashes of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79 and its artifacts provide an

extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city during Roman times. Enjoy Lunch in Pompeii before returning to Sorrento. Free time this afternoon to explore this beautiful coastal town. Tonight, performance at a church with local choir followed by afterglow reception. Dinner on your own and overnight in Sorrento. (CB | L)

Saturday, August 9 : Sorrento | Amalfi | Informal Concert | Sorrento Today, take a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful roads in the world! Each winding turn reveals a dazzling and unforgettable view of the coastline and sea. Villas are perched precariously along the rocky coastline and seem to hang from

the heavens. Stop in Amalfi, one of the four “Republiche Marinare” of Italy. Devoted to St. Andrew, the Amalfi Dome is located at the end of steep stairs. Time at leisure to explore along the pedestrian streets the various bars and cafes and to taste the locally produced limoncello. Continue to Ravello, which is nestled 1,110 feet above the sea. Visit Villa Rufolo, which gave the musician Richard Wagner the inspiration to create one of his most famous works. Informal concert at Ravello or St. Andrew, Amalfi. Overnight in Sorrento. (CB)

Sunday, August 10 : Sorrento | Capri | Sorrento After breakfast, attend Mass in Italian at a local church then transfer to the pier and depart by hydrofoil to Capri. Capri has a million charming secrets to discover: maybe Capri really is an Enchanted Island! The Isle of Capri is described in many ways: the Blue Island, the Sleeping Beauty, or the Island of Love. Due to its beauty, Emperor Tiberius ruled the Roman Empire from this island for 10 years. Take a panoramic tour of the island with a local guide, including a visit to the wonderful Marina Piccola, the Salto di Tiberio, the “heart” of Capri, Piazza Umberto I, and Gardens of Augusto, built on the ruins

of ancient Roman structures. Return to Sorrento for dinner on your own and overnight. (CB)

Monday, August 11 : Sorrento | Rome | Ancient Rome Tour Say farewell to the Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival in Rome, explore

Ancient Rome with a tour that includes the Coliseum (inside visit), Capitol Hill, the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument, Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, and the Baths of Caracalla, located by ancient Appian Way. Then, check into hotel for the next

three nights. Group Dinner and overnight in Rome. (CB | D)

Tuesday, August 12 : Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel | Performance This morning, enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, and the

Sistine Chapel, where you will view some of the most inspiring works of art, including Michelangelo's magnificent fresco of the Last Judgment. This afternoon, take an optional walking tour to see Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. Dinner on your own before your performance tonight. Overnight Rome. (CB)

Wednesday, August 13 : Papal Audience | Perform for the Holy Father

Today, attend the weekly Papal Audience (pending the Holy Father’s schedule). Your choir performs briefly for the Holy Father. Lunch on your own. Afternoon free to do some last minute shopping or to explore the “Eternal City” on your own. Farewell Dinner this evening. Overnight Rome. (CB | D)

Thursday, August 14 : Depart for USA This morning check out of the hotel and depart for the Rome Airport for your flights to the USA.
