SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM Baptism classes for parents are held every third Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the R.E. building. Parents must be registered parishioners for at least six months, attend Sunday Mass regularly and be practicing Catholics. Please bring your child’s birth certificate on day of class. Call the office to schedule classes.
MARRIAGE Must be a practicing Catholic, registered parishioners and attend an Engaged Encounter Retreat at Mercy Center. No date will be confirmed until the couple has met with Fr. Tim. At least six months preparation time is required.
QUINCEAÑERAS Must be a practicing Catholic, attending CCE and attend a Quinceañera Retreat. Parents must be registered parishioners. No date will be confirmed until the parents have met with Fr. Tim. At least six months preparation time is required.

training is available online in Spanish and
English. It is a comprehensive and
multi-dimensional training that specializes in
assisting churches and religious organiza-
tions in creating safe environments for
children. Its mainstay course, Protecting
God's Children assists the church in its
efforts to recognize and stop sexual abuse.

Prayer of Pope Francis During the Coronavirus Pandemic
O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen

Today in my prayer I strive to rejoice
with Mary, for whom the Lord has done
great things. After a life of total trust in
God and his mysterious will for her and
her son, she now receives her reward. I
join her in praying the Magnificat, ask-
ing for the grace to share her joy.
This is a feast of rejoicing and hope for
us too. Mary, one of us, is in heaven
with body and soul, and at the end of
time we will be there too, for that is our
destiny. With her, with the Holy Trinity
and with our loved ones. With our bod-
ies too: those same bodies that can be the
source of so much worry and trouble will
be glorified forever with God. I thank
God for creating me in his image, and
for the great gift of my body which
makes it possible for me to share my life
with others, to communicate, to enjoy
life and help others enjoy life too.
CATHEDRATICUM SECOND COLLECTIONS—Saturday, August 14 & Sunday, August 15—Every third Sunday of the month, we will have a second collection to help pay towards the Cathedraticum for 2021-2022. Envelopes will be provided for these collections. If you have pledged to the Offering Ministries, we sincerely THANK YOU and hope that you will also consider in participating in these collections. RAFFLE TICKETS are now available for distribution. We have approximately 85 books that need to be picked up and SOLD. Our hope is that all parish-ioners will participate in selling/buying tickets. ANNUAL CATHOLIC OFFERING FOR MINISTRIES(ACOM) - PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAIL IN YOUR PLEDGE FOR THE 2021-2022 MINISTRIES OFFERING . Our GOAL is $15,939.00 as set by the Diocese. Your contribution supports the many ministries of the Diocese of Lubbock.
PASTRY & GELATIN SALE (FLAN) —SAN RAMON PRAYER GROUP will have a Pastry and Gelatin (Flan) sale after Mass on Saturday, August 21 and August 22, 2021. Proceeds will go to the church and to their spiritual programs.
RCIA/Adult Education—For adults who need Sacraments or those who want to learn more about the richness and beauty of the Catholic faith. Classes start on September 8th. Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the CCE building. Please sign up after Mass or contact Tricia Vowels.
CCE CLASSES RESUME TENTATIVELY, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2021– from 10-11 a.m. We are waiting from the Diocese for specific direction as we move forward with the new Covid/Delta variant. The following grade levels are in need of teachers: K-1 (1 teach-er), 4th/5th (2 teachers), 6th/7th (2 teachers) and Pre-Confirmation (2 Teachers). Please consider volunteering for this rewarding children’s ministry that will help form their Catholic faith and teach how to apply God’s word into action. USHER COORDINATOR– Looking for a volunteer to head the Usher Ministry. Qualifications: Attend Mass on a regular basis, Recruit and train new ushers ! Maintain usher schedule ! Provide leadership and direction to ushers ! Attend Liturgy Committee planning meetings. Please let the office staff if you are interested in serving in this minis-try. We are also in need of ushers who have completed the Virtus Safe Environment Training.
COVID SAFETY MEASURES ARE STILL IN PLACE AT SAN RAMON—To eliminate the spread of COVID, the DELTA strain and the recent elevated number of cases, Fr. Tim is asking everyone inside the church, RE and Hall to wear a mask, that covers the nose and mouth. Thank you for your help in keeping our parishioners safe.
COVID 19 VACCINE CLINIC AT SAN RAMON—TUESDAY, AUGUST 17—1-3 p.m. Bishop Coerver has asked the Lubbock Health Department to host COVID 19 Clinics for all parishes in the diocese. San Ramon’s Clinic will take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 1:00 p.m.—3:00 p.m. in the Narthex. The Moderna Vaccine (2nd dosage within 30 days) and the Johnson & Johnson which is only one vaccine will be available. Please take advantage of this opportunity and get vaccinated. The COVID/Delta vari-ant is very contagious and numbers are rising among those that are not vaccinated and our children. We lift our children up in prayer for protection as they get ready to begin a new school year. “It’s an ethical choice, because you are playing with health, life, but you are also play-ing with the lives of others. Fr. Tim thanks you for your continuous prayers especially as he prepares for an aortic valve replacement procedure on August 23. Please continue to lift Fr. Tim in prayer each day. “I will restore your health, and I will heal your wounds,” declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 30:17
