CONDUCTING
Applicantsmust:Submitavideorecording(aDVD,oralinktoavideopostedonline)thatdemonstratestheapplicant’stechniqueandmusicianshipasarehearsaltechnicianandaconductor.Thevideoshoulddemonstrateoneofthefollowingrequirements:

Excerpt(atleast10minutes)ofaworkingrehearsaldemonstratingyourabilitytohearandaddresstechnicalissuesthatneedensembleattention,suchasintonation,rhythmicaccuracyandprecision,balance,diction,etc.Yourrehearsaltechniqueshouldalsoreflectyourabilitytoaddressinterpretivemusicalissuessuchasarticulation,dynamics,phrasing,tone,expression,etc.
