Magnetic tape and Motion Pictures

Cd’s and Digital storage

Cd is short for (Optical Disc) In 1974 a project was started with a 7 man team from the Phillips company to recreate an optical disc that was vastly better then the large vinyl record.

Cd (Optical Disc) This was used for Digital storage.

They were first developed as an add on to the telephone.

They were put into radio’s, tv’s, computers, etc.

Were further developed.

- If you are on the road, and you are listening to music, you cannot hear your surroundings, which could put you in danger.
