Audience Research• In this section, I’m going to talk about my primary audience research and apply the

information gathered to be able to use it. The reason why I am going to do this research is that when my music video will be released, audience will be more or less likely to watch it and like it.

The questions I have asked…1. Gender?2. Age ?3. Should the protagonist in my video have a talking role first?4. Do you want more dancing or acting scene in the video?5. Should there be a boy in the video or only a girl playing

the boy role?6. What role should she play?7. Favourite music genre?8. Should the costumes look like rags or normal clothes?9. How many characters do you feel should be in the music

video?10.What kind of colours should I use in my music video?11.Do you prefer short or long music video?

Evaluation…The questionnaire was grouped into 10 males and 10 females; therefore getting a

proportionate representative of my target demographic. This prevents biased results and an equal amount of opinions from both genders.

The research showed me that:- I need to consider that the content of my music video will be not inappropriate- Will have a message behind it- Their favorite music genre are R&B (30%) and Rock (30%).- They want more dancing ( 80%)- They want normal clothes to see in my video (60%)- My protagonist should have a speaking role first; which could be something like ‘Ladies,

2012, it’s time to switch the roles’ or ‘They can’t hold us down’ (75%)- There should be only a girl playing the boy role (60%)- I should use black and white colors scheme- to point of stereotype. (85%)- My protagonist should play the role of powerful young lady (38%)- However, people aren’t sure if I should produce long or short music videos, which means
