Audience Research

To find out what the audience thought about my magazine I put my front cover onto social networking, Facebook. This way I can get impartial feedback too see what I could of truthfully improved and witness what they believe I have done well.

In conclusion to this audience feedback, I have found out that there is definite room for improvement. As I have had various comments on how I can achieve these improvements. For example their are many repetitive comments about “New year, New sound” and how in many ways I can change that to become more appealing to the audience e.g. . Changing the style of font to stand out from the rest of the text . To the audience my title seems a tad to small, so I could of made that a slight bit larger to become more noticeable. Other examples are that I could have filled up more space, make it look more packed with information and also slightly move the cover-lines of the image. All these comments made me realise where I could of done better on my product, but obviously everyone has their own opinion about how something should look and how it should be represented. However there were plenty of comments that I am very proud of. It shown me that I succeeded In representing my magazine as indie. People related this to the choice of my colour scheme, dress code and bands I chose to feature on my cover lines. I am also very proud of the comments that they liked about my work for example the use of black boxes and headphones as it makes the cover stand out more and so on. This shows to me that people notice how I have tried to create a great product In what I have to put in to it. This makes me very proud of my work.
