Audience Feedback on the Video

I collected my feedback by giving 5 randomly chosen people at my College’s canteen (my target audience is in the College age group) a piece of paper asking them to writer down areas they liked and areas that need improving. I will then carry out these improvements and see which version they prefer.

Summary

• Most of the likes were about Character A’s (Lauren’s) stuff working and being good, with some development required on B’s (Joanna’s) stuff.

• The common dislikes on Joanna’s stuff was that the pace of the edit was too slow or there wasn’t enough movement in each shot.

Improvements I will carry out

• To rectify the lack of movement in the shooting of Joanna’s stuff I will add more movement. I will do this by filming her walking, in a different costume, to show flashbacks and thoughts of when A was with the character and when she was looking for A. This will add more momentum.

• Her current edit paced will be increased with a maximum time of shot being two seconds (but the average will be a lot shorter than this).
