What our target audience think of our film

• For our feedback we asked a boy and a girl to watch our opening of the thriller. Louie (boy) watched it first. He really liked the opening and said that the music really drew him into the film from the start. Although he did say that the screen was dark for long periods of time and that they should be shortened slightly. He added that if he had seen that as a taster of the film he would probably watch it at the cinema if it had good reviews. He also liked the fact that you couldn’t see what the creature was and he was asking himself questions about why he is running, who is he and when is it (past, future, present).

• After Louie, Becca (Girl) watched our opening. She enjoys thriller films and watch them often with her mates. She liked that we had flashbacks and that the cuts were fast and short. She thought it was a good idea hat we made the opening black and white. She said it was different and that it was different to most films she has seen. She was like Louie and didn’t like the blank screen at the start but really liked our opening. She also would consider going to see the film if it was on at the cinema.

• They both thought the opening was really good and the idea for the thriller was great.
