2013 Hillside School Spring FlingGala and Auction

Schedule of Events

Welcome to Hillside’s Annual Spring Fling Celebration!

Each year, we look forward to gathering with students and families to mark another year of growth and friendship, and to raise essen-tial funds to support learners and further the School’s programs.

Thanks to the generosity of many families, businesses, faculty and staff, we are pleased to offer you a diverse collection of items and experiences in 2013.

For our dedicated parents, grandparents and grandfriends, an eve-ning gala and auction is planned for Friday, May 3rd. Students and siblings in grades 5-9 will have an uproarious time with celebrated Magican Matias, following a pizza dinner. On Saturday, May 4th, we invite everyone to come together for athletics, a luncheon and a chance at live auction items that will especially appeal to Hillside students.

We hope you have a wonderful time, and, as always, wel-come your suggestions on how to make it better. Thank you for believing in Hillside and our boys, and for recognizing the very real difference your participation makes!

Emily KentDirector of Development

Bidding Information

Silent Auction (Friday, May 3rd, with “Hillside Holidays” offered through Saturday, May 4th):

To place bids, write your name and bid amount on bid sheets in the increments noted on each item (kindly note minimum bids for some items). All bids are binding. The highest bid wins; sheets will be gathered at 8:00 p.m. and winners posted at 8:30 p.m.

The exception to the close of Friday evening’s Silent Auction is the category of “Hillside Holidays,” which includes several enticing vacation packages. This year, the generosity of our donors allows us to offer a week on Cape Cod, a wine-lovers’ Vermont weekend, a long weekend in Kennebunkport, Maine, at a large estate, or a week at a luxury condo virtually any-where you can imagine.

To allow access to the largest number of members of our commu-nity, these items will remain “open” through Saturday at 1:30 PM.

If you will not be in attendance Saturday, and would like to submit a proxy bid, kindly e-mail Kim Neal ([email protected]) your contact information and highest proxy bid, specifying the item you would like to purchase. You will be notifi ed the afternoon of Saturday, May 4th.
