TWIN COAST DISCOVERY HIGHWAY

The Twin Coast Discovery Highway starts in Auckland and proceeds to the top of the North Island, hugging both the East and West Coasts.

KAURI COAST

Part of the west coast of Northland is referred to as the ‘Kauri Coast’ due to the large stand of ancient Kauri growing there. Much of the tourism activities on this side of the coast offer access and cultural interpretation of these massive trees.
