AUBURN SWIMMING CARNIVAL Sunday 24th November 2013What a fantastic day we had at our swimming carnival. A huge THANK YOU to all our helpers, parents, swimmers, coaches,

technical Officials and friends of the club - as you all know - the day wouldn’t have happened without all your help. We made a great profit for the club, and have had great feed back from attending clubs, from coaches, swimmers and parents.

2013 NSW Metropolitan Championships - SOPAC - 7-8 December 2013

Congratulations for our 14 swimmers that had qualified to compete at the Metropolitan Championships: David Ashwood, Heidi Atherton, Ryan Atherton, Christian Bardrum, Joachim Bardrum, Tristan Daniell, Lachlan Hansen, Jesse Hutabarat, Joshua Kite, Annika Linder, Finn O’Connor, Matthew Robinson, Nathan Robinson and Alex Valois.

It is fantastic to see that our swimmers keep improving and keep producing new PB’s. This proves they have worked hard, trained well, and that they have great coaching from Misha. Well done to Misha and the swimmers.

Auburn Swim Club finished 11th with 655 points - total medal tally - 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Bronze - and a few Metro records.

Christmas party and presentation night - 30 November 2013

What a great night, fantastic company, great food, and some excellent racing from the parents against the swimmers, the parents almost won the race, but will be back stronger next year.

Congratulations to all our trophies recipients - you all achieved well in the 2012-13 season. Special thank you to Jessica Ashwood who took time out to help present the trophies to our swimmers. Such an honor to have an representative from the Australian Swimming Team, Jessica participated in the London Olympics and the previous two World Championships.

Thank you to everyone that helped on the night and brought along delicious food.

State/National squad on break after training on Tuesday morning, the 24th, back again on Thursday afternoon 2nd January with sessions to be advised by Misha over that time at own training venues.
