More and more people are becoming aware that the best skin, body and hair care products should be natural. Just like many other companies these days, my products don’t include Parabens, SLS or any of the other headline nasties. At Au Natural Soaps I don’t have any synthetic or artificial ingredients, everything is 100% natural, plant derived in origin.

I can do all this because my products are handmade by me in small batches. I can carefully control and monitor every part of the process to the highest levels. Because I do everything by hand using ingredients fresh from nature there may be subtle differences from batch tobatch. During the past year I have introduced several new products and I am planning to introducemore new products in the future. I listen to my customers concerns. Do to worries over the possibility of dropping and shattering the reusable glass containers I am now offering most of my products in a very high quality, packaging made from 100% high grade and fully recyclable plastic.

An abbreviated history...

It all started in 2012 when a girl (that would be me) was reading about the chemicals used by the skin care industry & the effect on health, fertility and aging those chemicals had. First, I set out to find products sold at local stores that were free of synthetic colors, fragrances and preservatives. That's when I took notice that most products presenting themselves as natural were in fact not.

At the time my husband was often away on deployments with the military and I had found this new growing passion. I was in desperate need of a creative outlet... a hobby …but I wanted one with purpose. Something that would benefit my family and friend’s health. So I started by teaching myself to make household cleaners & basic soap. I also started my first veggies garden but thatis another story for a different time.

This perfect storm of passion and free time sparked a new interest in all the amazing affects plants and nature have on our bodies. I for one suffered from eczema & acne breakouts that I had struggled to get under control most of my life. I was excited about the new possibility of relief. As I was formulating recipes and experimenting with ingredient combinations on myself, I was perfecting my products. Friends took notice and started making requests for personalized productsthat fit their specific needs.

From this grew Au Natural Soaps. I still create all of my products in small batches and made to order (to ensure the quality and freshness).

What Makes Au Natural Soap’s Different

My entire line is made by hand. I don’t assign production contracts to third party manufacturers. The risk of cross contamination is a major concern, since the production lines at such plants tend to process synthetic and chemical ingredients as well. I would rather have your products as fresh as possible and made on demand in my workshop.

My products are 100% natural. Every single ingredient that goes into my products is natural. The word ‘natural’ could be a little vague and what one person believes to be a natural ingredient, doesn’t necessarily match someone else’s criteria. The only time something would not be what Iconsider natural is when you special request a perfume style scent. I only order the highest quality fragrances made free of parabens and sulphates.

What you see is what you get. Your skin & health matter. I believe natural skin care should not be an occasional luxury but an everyday eesential because your skin and your health are important. My skin and hair care line is reasonably priced so that you can afford to look after your skin and yourself, naturally, every day
