• Khas Mahal – The Khas Mahal or “The Special Palace” is a must visit tourist attraction near Taj Mahal. The palace was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his two beloved daughters, Roshanara and Jahanara; and indeed the palace is special in more ways than one. It is made up of pure white marble and the entire palace was inlaid with gems and gold. The sad part is that the gold painting has faded away but the grandeur of the palace is still visible in every nook and corner. The Khas Mahal is a part of the majestic Agra Fort.
