Monday, Oct. 24th, 2:00 - 4:00pm (open lab)

Thursday, Oct. 27th, 11:00 - 1:00pm (open lab)

Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1:00 - 3:00pm (open lab)

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 4:00 - 6:00pm (open lab)

Location: Financial Aid Resource Center Workshops are not 2 hours long. Staff is available to provide

one-on-one assistance during these hours.

Answer all twelve questions to determine if you are Dependent or Independent.

Were you born before January 1, 1994? o Yes o No

Are you married (As of the date you submitted your FAFSA)? o Yes o No

Are you working on a master’s or doctorate program in 2017-2018? o Yes o No

Are you a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces? o Yes o No

Do you now have or will have children who will receive more than half of their support from

you between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018? o Yes o No

Do you have dependents (other than your children or spouse) who live with you and who re-

ceive more than half of their support from you, now and through June 30, 2018? o Yes o No

Were both of your parents deceased, were you in foster care or a court dependent/ward? o Yes o No

Are/were you an emancipated minor? o Yes o No

Are/were you in legal guardianship? o Yes o No

Have you been verified as a homeless youth? o Yes o No

Has the Department of Housing & Urban Development determined you to be homeless? o Yes o No

Have you been verified as an unaccompanied youth who is at risk for homelessness? o Yes o No
