VERSATILE - All cabinets can be usedindividually, or in any combination tomeet your storage, decay, and workbench requirements. Unified stainless steelcountertops with 4" backsplash and 0.5"lip are available for multiple cabinet configurations. Tops can be ordered 6"deeper than cabinets to accommodatepipes and services.

SAFE - Completely shielded with lead onall six sides, most units are available withshielding thickness of 0.25", 0.5" and 1".

MODULAR - As needs change, so maydepartment layouts. Biodex Lead-LinedLaboratory Furniture can stand alone or becombined with additional units at any time – without costly room alterations.

SECURE – All doors have key locks forsecurity. All cabinets include a set ofbrackets for seismic anchoring.

LEAD SHIELDING – All lead-linedcabinets are fully shielded on six sideswith solid sheet lead. Corner leadshielding is overlapped and consistentwith lead thickness.

COUNTERTOPS – Countertops arestainless steel with backsplash and spill-proof lip. When ordering multipleunits for grouped configuration, aunified countertop may be ordered toprovide a continuous work surface. Lead-Lined Cabinets can also be orderedwithout countertops.

Biodex Medical Systems offers a complete selection of lead-lined cabinets to facilitate the safe

handling, storage and disposal of radioactive materials in a laboratory environment. Since each

cabinet is fully shielded on all six sides, it may be used separately or in conjunction with other

cabinets to match your exact storage, decay and workbench requirements.

Biodex lead-lined cabinets are used extensively in nuclear medicine, biomedical and

pharmaceutical research. They are an essential safety requirement in any laboratory that utilizes

radioactive materials.

Biodex also offers lead-plastic x-ray shielding windows which provide radiation protection when

a large undistorted window is necessary. These Clear-Lead™ Windows are available in 0.3 to

2.0 mm of lead equivalence while retaining all the safety aspects of using plastic.

Clear-Lead is the shatter resistant choice when a large undistorted radiation protectionwindow is necessary. Safe to work with, the panel can easily be cut with commonly usedtools and fit to standard lead-lined window frames. Clear-Lead is a unique, versatile,transparent acrylic plastic containing 30% lead by weight. The windows offer effectiveradiation protection with superb light transmission.
