GPMS Classification: NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED Good afternoon, Following an incident which occurred yesterday (Wednesday 17th November) in which we recovered two skimming devices on the ATM at Scotmid, 94 Main Street, Cairneyhill. I have been asked to circulate the information to you all to make you aware of the dangers posed by such devices. Two devices were placed over the ATM yesterday, one covering the PIN keyboard which has a small camera device and another device which obtains card details via the card reader. The persons responsible are then believed to be able to make clone cards using the information and then make withdrawals from the respective bank accounts. The quality of the devices were very convincing and I would remind everyone that if they have any concerns at all about any device on an ATM, not to use it or try and remove any device but to contact the ATM operator and Police. Could I ask everyone to forward this e-mail on to persons in their own distribution lists and remind any persons that should they believe their accounts have been targeted to contact their own bank initially and Police. Good afternoon,

Following an incident which occurred yesterday (Wednesday 17th November) in which we

recovered two skimming devices on the ATM at Scotmid, 94 Main Street, Cairneyhill. I have

been asked to circulate the information to you all to make you aware of the dangers posed by

such devices.

Two devices were placed over the ATM yesterday, one covering the PIN keyboard which has

a small camera device and another device which obtains card details via the card reader. The

persons responsible are then believed to be able to make clone cards

using the information and then make withdrawals from the respective bank accounts.

The quality of the devices were very convincing and I would remind everyone that if they

have any concerns at all about any device on an ATM, not to use it or try and remove any

device but to contact the ATM operator and Police.

Could I ask everyone to forward this e-mail on to persons in their own distribution lists and

remind any persons that should they believe their accounts have been targeted to contact their

own bank initially and Police.

Thanks for your co-operation

Ryan
