Student Council today is the last meeting. Everyone on Student Council please come for our year end celebrations! Girls Rugby come support our Yotes as they take on Churchill at 5:30pm today at Sherring Field. This is our zone final, winner goes to provincials. GO YOTES! Monday is Hungry Hippo Jersey Day! There will be a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos in the gym at flex and we encourage students and teachers to wear their favourite jersey in support of this leadership event. Interested in being a part of Lethbridge Pridefest and Pride Parade on June 24th? Come to Room 218 at Flex 1 on Monday, June 12 th to find out more and help make decorations for our parade float! Any girls interested in auditioning for a one act play called Most Massive Woman Wins , which will run next semester in September, auditions will be happening on Tuesday at Flex in the Drama Room. Just show up and come as you are! Grade 9 Friday – Week A Grad cap and gown and convocation ticket pick-up is June 29 th (8am- 12noon) from the office conference room. This is the only time for pick-up. ALL school fees must be paid and textbooks returned in order to pick up your cap, gown and tickets. Lifetouch is having a grad photo studio retake day on June 9 th in their studio. This is for any grad who needs a retake or missed their grad photo opportunity. Please call Lisa at 403-327-2658 to book the appointment. The studio address is 719-4th Ave South, Suite 120. GRADS - PLEASE SEE YOUR ADVISOR IMMEDIATELY! They need to touch base with you to write your one-liners for Convocation. SEMESTER END REPORT CARDS: Use Power School account to view and print your own year-end report card on July 5th. All Chinook students have an account. If you have not already accessed it, we encourage you to do so in order to be familiar with the system before report card time. If you do not have access to the internet please contact the school office to make alternate arrangements. Diploma Marks will not be available on PowerSchool. The only way to access Diploma marks will be through your My Pass account. All Library books need to be returned ASAP. Work Experience Students - The end of the year is drawing near and it’s time to get all of your paystubs in so you can receive as many work experience credits as possible! Please bring them to Mamta in Room 209 by June 9th.

• Grade 10 & 11 Students: If you are planning to work a summer job, please have your signed work experience contracts handed in by the last day of school, June 29, 2017.

• Also, make sure that you have HCS3000 done before you sign up. Please see Mamta in Room 209 for more information. This is a 1-credit work safety course that is a prerequisite for work experience.

• Don’t forget students, if you are working at summer camps or volunteering you can receive work experience credits.

ATCO Indigenous Education Awards Program - ATCO Provides awards to Alberta Indigenous students who demonstrate leadership and commitment in their quest for higher education. Requirements: Completed application form (available online at

employer. Short essay (max 1000 words) describing why you are a

suitable award candidate. Proof of enrollment for your upcoming school semester. mornings. School buses will not be scheduled to

run in the afternoon.

Food for Fines - Bring in non-perishable food for the local food banks to pay off your library fines! Bring in your

donations June 1-11th. Each food item donated will be worth $5 off fines. Donations are only applicable to late fines and

hold fees, not lost items or other account charges. Food items past their expiry date will not be accepted.

diploma exam results or diploma

statements. All information will be available

to students on the Alberta Education myPass

system where you can view and print diploma

exam result statements, order transcripts, as

well as view and print detailed academic

reports (DAR). If you have not already created

your personal myPass account you can pick up

information in the office to get started now.
