Eagles Logo Style Guidelines

Overview of the Manual

This graphic standards manual is specific to the PCC Athletic Department and the PCC Eagles identity. The purpose of this manual is not to restrict creativity, but to provide helpful guidance, enabling PCC staff, partners, and suppliers to strengthen and maintain the Eagles Athletics brand effectively across a wide range of applications and media.

Purpose

The eagle is a symbol of courage, nobility, vision, and leadership—attributes that the Eagles sports teams seek to represent as they compete with athletic excellence and Christ-like character.

Logo Usage Guidelines

The Eagles Athletics brand elements are designed to support and reflect Pensacola Christian College’s vision and values. Correct, consistent application of the images is the

most crucial step in the branding process, and ensures that the athletic brand materials communicate the school’s values clearly.Consistency is the most important factor for developing and maintaining a successful brand identity.

• Athletic logos must always maintain approved colors, proportions, and design integrity.

• No alterations may be made, nor may design elements be placed inside any of the athletic logos.

• It is preferable to include the college name with the image.

• Images should not be manipulated or changed in any way

• Images should always be reproduced from official artwork and colors in the manner described in this guide.

• The guidelines apply to both printed and electronic forms.

• The marks and logos in this guide may not be used to represent any outside entity, on or off campus.

Color Information

Signature colorsThe signature color palette of Freedom blue and white creates a powerful differentiator for the Eagle brand. The signature colors may be used extensively both for large areas of color and as accent colors.

Supporting colorsThe supporting color palette of Victory gold and gray compliments the signature colors Freedom blue and white. The supporting colors work well as accent colors or as subtle backgrounds behind typography or graphics.
