Words from our AthleteI Crossfit because I love it! I have to admit Fever scared me a little, I would come by the box several times a week going to my church on the other end of the warehouses. I have been an avid exerciser for years, bootcamps, aerobics, kickboxing, but I never ventured out in the gym to the weights. That was my hold up coming to crossfit. I would drive by and see the people in the box lifting weights and I was intimidated, but I kept telling my husband that I wanted to come. My husband, with complete faith that I could do it, bought the 101 class for my birthday in March 2011. But I still did not come to the 101 class for 3 months, and even then I brought my daughter with me for back up. But I survived 101 and CF is part of my life now. CF is my "me" time. It is physical, mental and also very social. I plan my days around CF. If I am not able to come, I miss both the challenge and the camaraderie that I have with my other 5pmers. My goats were T2B and Dubs, both of which I can now do, thanks to good coaching. I am still working on the lifting part but I am sure I will get there (at least that is what Jorge says). My new goat is pull ups, so if you see a crazy woman who looks like she is just hanging from the bar, I am really trying to pull myself up:)

THE FACE OF PERSEVERANCEIt’s not everyday that you come across a person who has two of the best qualities that make you an over achiever; “Perseverance

and Commitment”. Tracey Land our Female Athlete of Month for February possesses these qualities and more.

Tracey has been a member of Crossfit Fever since 2011. You can always find Tracey Wodding with the 5PM class, or doing yoga twice a week, kicking some butt in the snatches class or digging deep at beast camp. No matter what she is doing giving up is not

an option! Her dedication and desire to be proficient with her movement has earned her a spot as a role model and Athlete of

the Month for February.

Crossfit Fever has seen her hard work and dedication and would like to take this time to congratulate her on her progress.

Words from our AthleteSoccer was always my one and only sport but after an unsuccessful knee surgery, my chances of playing again were none. I then thought I would never feel again the same passion for any other sport; until, I was exposed to crossfit and the whole Fever family. At our box each workout is a new challenge to push everyone to keep improving, just to see the struggle in people's faces trying to finish and then the satisfaction when they are done, is priceless. My passion for crossfit has been growing since day one. A day cannot pass by without me thinking what the next WOD would be.Fever has a great vibe; the good music, the nice people, the perfect WOD's, and the amazing trainers, that are always there to help and push you beyond your limits, make the whole experience extraordinary. Thanks to the program, I have been able to strengthen my knee muscles and the pain I felt when running has been decreasing continuously to now be all gone. I have now convinced myself that I can do something that I thought I could not do before. I have met my goals to stay fit and healthy but now I want to surpass it and become the best version of myself. Crossfit has inspired to give the best of me and I hope it has the same effect on you!

HARD WORK PAYS OFFA hard working young man who has made attending class a priority. Victor a faithful 7:00 pm member who has set very high standards for the rest of us. Not only does he pour his heart out on every class but he warms up and cools off by literally running to and from the box.

Victor has been a member of Fever since November 2011 and is the type of Athlete that understands the crossfit movements and technique very well and understands the importance of picking up on cues and perfecting the art. Not only has he caught Fever’s attention by his tenacity and motivation but also takes time to help other members improve their technique.

Victor gives his all in every rep by pushing not only himself but literally raising the bar for other athletes to step it up and for that, Victor has earned a spot as our February Athlete of the month.

Crossfit Fever has seen his hard work and dedication and would like to take this time to congratulate him on his progress.
