The Holy Qur`an

‘In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth glorifies Allah,

the Sovereign, the Holy, the Mighty, the Wise. He it is Who has raised among the Unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves

who recites unto them His Signs, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom, although they had been, before, in manifest

misguidance; And among others from among them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise. That is Allah’s grace; He bestows

it on whom He pleases; and Allah is the Master of immense grace.’

(Holy Qur’ān: Chapter 62: Al-Jumu`ah; Verse: 1-5)

Hadīth Nabwi sa

A companion of The Holy Prophetsa relates: One day we were sitting with The Holy Prophetsa when Surah Al-Jumu`ah was revealed. I enquired from the Messenger of Allahsa. Who are the people to

whom the words “and among others of them who have not yet joined them” refer? Hadrat Salmanra, a Persian was sitting among us. The Holy Prophetsa put

his hand on Hadrat Salmanra and said:

“If faith were to go up to the Pleiades, a man [or men] from among these would surely find it.”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari]

“What Isay isnotanoccasion forsurprise, therefore, it isanoccasion, rather, for

renderingthanks-repeatedthanks-toGod.Itisanoccasionforrenewingfaith;certaintyof

faith,thatistosay,GodAlmightythroughsheerGraceandMercyhasfulfilledHispromise.

TheprophecyHisApostlemade has been truewithout aminute’sdelay.Notonly has a

prophecybeenfulfilled,butthedoorhasbeenopenedforthefulfillmentofthousandsof

otherprophecies - the showingofothermiracles. If you have faith, therefore, youmust

renderthankstoGod.YoumustprostrateagainandagainingratitudetoHim.Thisisthe

timeyourfatherswaitedtoseebutitdidnotcome.Generationswentbyanditdidnotcome.

Ithascomeforyou.Itisforyoutobegratefulforit,foryoutobenefitfromit.Imustsay

andIcannotbestoppedfromrepeatingthatIamthepromisedonewhohasbeensentto

restorethefaith,tore-establishitintheheartsofmen.Ihavebeensentexactlyaswassent

myprototypetofollowthemanofGodtheycallKalimullah.Ihavecomelikehimwhose

spiritunderwenthardshipsinthereignofHerodandwasatlastraisedtoheaven.Mycoming

becameimperativeafterthecomingofthesecondKalim,hewhoisgreaterthanthefirst

Kalimbeingthechiefofallprophets.ThissecondKalimcametodefeatanddisgracethe

Pharaohsofhistime.ItisofhimthatithasbeensaidintheHolyBook,‘wehavesentunto

youaMessengeraswitnessoveryou,evenaswesenttoPharaohaMessenger’”

Guidance from Khulafa-e-AhmadiyyatHadrat Khalifatul Massih II ra says:

“What can bemore convincing for aMuslim than the testimonyof God andHisProphet? For HazratMirza Sahibwe have the testimony of both, and furthermore, thetestimonyofotherprophets.Ourown judgmentandreasonpoint to thepresent timeasthe time for a reformer.The Signswhich theHoly Prophet (onwhombepeaceand theblessingsofGod)enumeratedassignsoftheMessiahandMahdihavebecomevisible.ThepurityofHazratMirzaSahib’spersonallifetestifiestothetruthofhisclaim.TheenemiesofIslamwhomthePromisedMessiahhadtodefeathavebeendefeated.TheinternaldangersfromwhichMuslimssufferhave reached theirutmost limit. In thepresenceof theHolyQuranthesedangerscouldnotbeworsethantheyare.ThePromisedMessiahhasre-statedMuslimbeliefsandremovedthedangerousdistortionsIslamwasundergoingfromwithin.ThroughouthislifeheenjoyedthehelpandloveofGod,asprophetsandfavoritesofGodhavealwaysdone.Hewasgrantedvictory aftervictory.Hewasprotected from intriguesandattacks.Hisenemiessuffereddisgraceanddeath,asenemiesoftheprophetsandthemessengersofGodhavedoneinthepast.Theprocessesofnaturepressedthemselvesintotheserviceofhiscauseandheavenandearthmovedinhisfavour.AspecialknowledgeoftheHolyQuranwasbestowedonhim,alsospecialmeansforitsdiffusion.Heinvitedallandsundry,includingthemostlearned,totesthisclaimtomiraculousandintellectualgifts,butnobodydareddoso.HismiraculousArabicworksandhisspecialknowledgeofthemeaningoftheHolyQuranremainedunchallenged.Andwhy?HadnotGodHimselfpromisedthat‘onlythepureinheartwillhaveaccesstotheHolyBook’”

National Atfal Monthly Newsletter Additions: By the Grace of Allah, Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Canada had the blessed opportunity to electronically publish a Monthly Newsletter over the last months. To further enhance and improve the quality and overall level of this publication, we request Nazimeen Atfal Majalis and Izl`a to contribute even further in this purpose by the following ways:

• Report any outstanding achievements of any Tifl (academic - religious or secular, athletic, etc.)

• Write any article, comments, etc. you find interesting to be published in the Newsletter and for the benefit of the office bearers especially related to Atfal.

`Ashra Tarbiyat By the Grace of Allah, Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Canada is organizing `Ashra Tarbiyat from March 13th - 20th, 2010. A sophisticated plan, outlining the various activities and individual items to be conducted during the `Ashra by every Tifl, has been prepared and already distributed to the Nazimeen Atfal and Zil`a Nazimeen Atfal. Nazimeen Atfal are requested to introduce and implement the program as outlined to the best of their ability in the remaining couple of days. Please also coordinate with the parents for their input in this regard as well. After the `Ashra, Nazimeen Majalis are requested to send a detailed report to the National Markaz which should indicate the overall results of the effort done or any complications that have been faced. Jazakallah!

Musleh Mau`ud ra Tournaments

Islam extensively emphasizes the importance of living a lifewhere the spiritual,moral,andphysicalelementsof onespersonalityaredevelopedaccordingtoman’spurposeof creation.Havingaclean,active,andstrongphysicalbodyhasagreatimpactonoursoulsaswell.Keepingthisaspectinmind,thedepartmentof Sehat-e-JismaniinMajlisKhuddamulAhmadiyyaandMajlisAtfalulAhmadiyyaorganizesvarioushealthyactivitiesthroughout the year. One of the prime events in this regard are theMuslehMau`udraTournamentsheldeveryyearatvariouslocationsacrossCanadawhereKhuddamandAtfalmeetandviewitheachotherinmanyhealthydirections. BytheGraceof Allah,MajlisAtfalulAhmadiyyaCanadawasable toholdvariousMuslehMau`udraTournamentsonIzl`alevelinthelastcoupleof weeks.Variousinterestingsportssuchasbasketball, soccer,badminton,volleyballetc.decoratedthese tournamentsandprovidedanenjoyableatmospherefor theparticipatingAtfal.Asidefromthesportsaspect, these tournaments gave a greatopportunity forAtfal to learn theorganizationalstructureof theJama`atanduplifttheirmoralityforaTarbiyatiperspective. Various dignitaries of the Jama`at and members of the National Majlis `Amilaof MKAC and MAAC attended especially the opening and closing sessions of thesetournaments,deliveredinsightfulspeeches,andprovidedvaluableadvisestotheorganizersandvolunteers.TheIzl`abreakdownof theseeventsissummarizedonthefollowingpageswithsomementionablehighlights.
