The GP340 EX, GP380 EX, GP580 EX and GP680 EX are built with a visible blue color, helping to ensure that users only bring ATEX/IECEx approved radios into potentially explosive environments.

GP340 EX

A 16-channel model with streamlined features for the users of PL/5-Tone signaling radios. Features include call forwarding to get messages through to another colleague when you are unavailable to receive calls, audible low battery alerts and emergency signaling to ensure you get the help you need when needed.

GP380 EX

A 255-channel model that offers a similar feature set as the GP340EX, along with 14-character alphanumeric display. This enables features such as contact lists and short-text messaging.

GP580 EX

Designed for users of the StartSite, SmartZone and SmartNet systems, this versatile radio provides organizations with the combined power of a trunked radio system and a Motorola Professional Series radio suitable for use in hazardous environments. Features include RSSI roaming which extends communications beyond a single trunked site, selective radio inhibit allowing you to block a radio should it get lost or stolen and integrated emergency alarm giving priority access to users who require immediate assistance. A 14-character alphanumeric display enables easy and intuitive access to the many other features of the radio.

GP680 EX

Designed for users with MPT1327/MPT1343 systems. Features include contact lists that make calls easy and allow inbound calls to be quickly and easily identified, prioritized and dynamic regrouping which allows over-the-air reconfiguration of the radio in emergency or disaster situations.

Oil and Gas Distribution: The distribution of oil and gas requires optimum efficiency and safety. The remote speaker microphone is water-resistant to withstand harsh weather environments and has an emergency button to quickly call for assistance if required.

Oil and Gas Extraction: At the incident scene, coordinating resources is critical for a safe, successful outcome. A heavy duty headset protects users from the extensive noise on the scene and allows them to easily coordinate the resources needed. A large in-line PTT makes it easy to access even when wearing gloves.

Manufacturing Facilities: The comprehensive safety features of the ATEX radios make them ideal for use in environments with the potential presence of explosive gas, commonly found at certain manufacturing facilities. The Behind-the-Head lightweight headset is designed for easy operation and a comfortable fit for extended wear often required in manufacturing facilities.

Fire and Rescue: A traditional microphone may pick up too much noise from the surroundings and not enough of the intended audio, which can be a problem in a firefighting environment. The skull microphone uses bone conduction, ensuring that surrounding noises are not transmitted. It also leaves the face unobstructed and can be used with a breathing apparatus

Audio AccessoriesATEX Remote Speaker Microphone (GMMN1111): This water-resistant (IP54) remote speaker microphone is built with a robust housing and features an emergency button as well as volume control buttons making it easy to operate even when wearing gloves.

ATEX Behind-the-Head Lightweight Headset (PMLN5154): Ultra-lightweight and provides a stylish, comfortable communication solution targeted at supervisors. Offers noise protection of a heavy duty headset without the weight. Can be worn with hard hats and other protective gears and includes an in-line PTT and flexible noise canceling boom microphone for convenient, hands-free communication. Provides noise reduction of 24 dB with use of attenuating plugs.

ATEX Over-the-Head Lightweight Headset (PMLN5153): The foam headband provides a comfortable solution for extended wear in low noise environments. This single-muff headset comes with rotating boom microphone for left or right positioning. Includes an in-line PTT.

ATEX Behind-the-Head Heavy Duty Headset (PMLN5152): The metal behind-the-head support band with comfortable over-the-head cloth strap is designed to be used with the appropriate safety gear, such as a hardhat in rugged or hazardous environments. Also designed for use in noisy environments where hearing protection is required. This dual-muff headset includes flexible noise-canceling boom microphone with a large in-line Push-to-Talk button to ensure clear communication in noisy environments. Noise Reduction: 24dB

ATEX Throat Microphone (PMMN4055): Specialty microphone that picks up your voice through sensors in contact with your larynx, making it ideal for use in situations where traditional microphones are not suitable, such as when users are wearing masks. The strap holding the microphone is adjustable for a comfortable fit around the neck. A 80mm in-line PTT button enables easy PTT access. The earpiece is a translucent tube with a rubber eartip.

ATEX Skull Microphone (PMMN4056): Specialty microphone that picks up the voice through bone vibrations in the skull making it ideal for use in situations where it is not desirable to pick up any ambient sounds and traditional microphones are not suitable. This microphone is designed for use with protective head gear or breathing apparatus application and includes an 80mm in-line PTT button for easy PTT access. User hears through an ear cup receiver.

Shoulder Strap (NTN5243): Adjustable Black Shoulder Carry Strap for Leather Carry Case. High quality and durable product that attaches to D-rings on the carry case and allows easy carrying of radio when you’re not wearing a belt.

Batteries and Chargers

ATEX High Capacity Li-Ion Battery (NNTN5510CR*): This 1480 mAh battery for the blue ATEX radios provides extended battery life often necessary when operating in rugged and hazardous environments. It has also been specially designed with unique mechanics that prevents non-ATEX batteries from being fitted to the radios.

*Please note the NNTN5510CR can only be used with the blue radios. It is not a replacement for NNTN5510AR or NNTN5510BR and cannot be used with the black ATEX radios.
