ASoG Pre-Election Summit

Exactly 7 days before elections, the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) is organizing a Pre-election summit of eminent election

monitoring bodies to provide a venue for them to discuss their unique monitoring contexts to the public.

Registration will begin 10:00 am of Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Astroria Plaza, 15 J. Escriva Drive Ortigas Business District, Pasig City.

Former COMELEC Chair and OneVoice Chairperson Christian Monsod will provide analysis of the status of the 2010 automated polls

(specifically the AES) and provide the backdrop to the climate of politics that confront election monitoring organizations. Social Weather

Stations President, Dr. Mahar Mangahas will follow with a presentation of a Pre-Election Survey. In the afternoon a panel of key election

monitoring groups shall discuss their unique monitoring contexts and the challenges they face on the ground to ensure credible elections.

To confirm attendance, please email Michelle Avelino at [email protected] or send an SMS confirmation to 09194614233.

accountable voting through different promotional methods, such as Room to Room Campaign, Caf Raids, and Public Announcements, in the

Ateneo Loyola Schools Campus, including the Ateneo Residence Halls.
