Step 1: Unpack your Kyrion® unit and carefully slide it into a shelf space in the rack. Use

your equipment rack’s screws to secure the device in place. Step 2: Connect the Kyrion

® System to a power outlet using the provided power cord.

Step 3: Connect the network cables to Ethernet interfaces. � The Stream interfaces should be plugged to your broadcast network � The MGT (management) interface should be plugged to your supervision

network Step 4: Connect the HD-SDI input cable and eventually one or more ASI outputs. Step 5: Power up the Kyrion

®, switching the 0/1 button in the 1 position.

� After a few seconds, ATEME logo should appear on the LCD. � The front Panel selection menu appears when the unit is up and running.

Step 7: From this point on, you should be able to access advanced parameters of the Kyrion Encoder from any remote Computer using a standard Web Browser and the IP address you set in Step 6.
