You’ll also explore the city in variety of ways – by bike, on a harbour cruise, in a classic 1960s Australian- made vehicle, on a surfboard or paddle board, and on a Skywalk. It’s a short, action-packed visit that’ll give you the chance to find out why Sydney is such a great holiday destination for all types of travellers. Please note itinerary is subject to change and all activities to be confirmed prior to your departure. You will be asked to sign a Destination NSW participant release form prior to the start of the famil.

Join us for a great introduction to Sydney’s famous lifestyle with plenty of outdoor action, eating out at stylish venues, entertainment and free time to explore. On this three-day itinerary, you’ll visit some of the city’s most well-known locations including Manly and Bondi beach, the Sydney Opera House and The Rocks. You’ll also explore the city in variety of ways – by bike, on a harbour cruise, in a classic 1960s Australian-made vehicle, on a surfboard or paddle board, and on a Skywalk. It’s a short, action-packed visit that’ll give you the chance to find out why Sydney is such a great holiday destination for all types of travellers.

DAY ONE

Today you’ll experience Sydney like a local. Enjoy the sights from the comfort of a classic vintage vehicle, a meticulously restored 1964 EH Holden Premier. Neighbourhoods within the city and at the beach are your destination today with My Sydney Detour.

The 3 hour Detour offers a fantastic overview of the real Sydney from a local perspective. You will enjoy various neighbourhoods within the city and at the beach. Your tour guide will show you hidden gems in the harbour where you will be humbled by the natural beauty of Sydney.

Afterwards, stroll through the historic Rocks area to Circular Quay where you’ll board a Captain Cook cruise for the short trip across the harbour to Taronga Zoo. Located on the edge of the harbour with fabulous city skyline views, the zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals, and offers 20 keeper talks and shows day. The popular Animal Encounters allow you to get close to some of the zoo’s most amazing animals. You’ll even receive a souvenir photo of this unique moment to take home. Various animal encounters during the day. Encounters are subject to daily availability.

After your animal encounter experience you will experience the latest tour, Wild Ropes where you will test your limits by navigating your way through a purpose-built course. Tackle obstacles, cross suspension bridges, and soar through the trees while enjoying breath taking views of Sydney Harbour.

After the zoo, board your Captain Cook cruise for the transfer to Circular Quay for some time at leisure to explore The Rocks.

DAY TWO

Transfer to Bronte for your coastal walk to Bondi - it’s the ultimate combination of beaches, parks and spectacular views which make the walk a ‘must do’!

Distances and times: The total length of the walk is about 3.5kms; allow 30-40 minutes walking time. Sun Protection: Although there is some shade and shelter along the way, the walk itself is exposed to the elements. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and some water.

Arrive at Bondi and check in at Lets Go Surfing for your paddle boarding or surf lesson (1hr)

Stand up paddle boarding or “SUP‟ing” is one of the fastest growing sports crazes. Whether you’re young or just young at heart, Lets Go Surfing’s Stand Up Paddle lessons can be tailored to get the complete novice up and paddling or improve technique for more experienced paddlers. There’s one thing for certain, paddling standing on a long board on Bondi Beach promises a great work out, great coastal views and a great Sydney experience.

What better place to learn to surf than on world-famous Bondi Beach. Here you’ll find fantastic waves, a cool beachside vibe and Lets Go Surfing (LGS) – one of the friendliest and most professional surf schools in Australia. At LGS, dedicated, fully-qualified staff can help you catch the wave of your dreams, whether it’s your first time setting foot in the ocean or you’re a surf fanatic looking to ride the big one. Plus, with a complete surf store, they can help you with all the gear you need to get out in the waves.

NB: Let’s Go Surfing will provide all you need for your lesson. All you need bring is a swimsuit and towel. You can store your personal gear at the office so all you have to carry to the beach is the surfboard!

Drop off at Circular Quay for your Oz Jet Boating adventure!

This awesome adventure is a magnificent combination of sightseeing and traditional jet boating with spins, slides, power-break stops and fish-tails. It’s this unique combination of sightseeing and fun that makes the Oz Jet Experience a must-do when in Sydney. On Oz Jet’s lap of Sydney Harbour you will come face to face with the stunning sights of Sydney, from the world famous Opera House, to Clark and Shark Islands, the harbourside mansions that are Australia’s most expensive real estate, Taronga Zoo and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Walk a short distance to your next tour –

DAY THREE

Cycling is the ideal way to explore Manly.

Discover secluded coves, deserted beaches and breathtaking coastal views along 20km of dedicated bike paths and off road trails. Enjoy lunch in Manly before exploring the markets.

Join the Sydney Harbour Kayaks Coffee Tour to experience Sydney Harbour in a completely different way. Our qualified and charismatic guides will lead you from our Spit Bridge location, toward Grotto Point and Middle Head giving you a taste of the life around one of Sydney's wonderfully secret waterways. This tour is a great way of getting friends together for a unique blend of fun and exercise on the water. The tour allows you to enjoy the views out into the Pacific Ocean as you paddle toward Middle Head. Your guides will introduce you to the fascinating natural history of the area as well as the various flora and fauna you may encounter. You will also be able to take a well earned break on one of Middle Harbour's pristine beaches where your guide will brew fresh coffee and tea whilst you muster up some energy for the short paddle back to the Spit Bridge!
