SHOOTER RESPONSIBILITY1. Take your average card to the classification/handicap window immediately upon arrival. Be
sure a member of the Handicap Committee enters your classification, including Handicap yardage and special category such as veteran, lady, etc., into the computer before you leave the window. It shall be the shooters responsibility to inform the Handicap Committee as to his or her category.
2. Once classified, proceed to cashier for entry, options and receipt.
3. All presquad.com reservations will be honored and held for all events each day until 30 minutes prior to the start of the first event of that day.
4. The cashier will not accept counter checks or second party checks. Checks are accepted in the amount of shooting fees only – No Exceptions. All entries must be made in U.S. funds.
5. No shooter will be allowed to make up more than 50 targets on a practice trap if he/she has missed the squad. If you are unable to join your squad before they have started their second fifty, you must be re-squadded. All make-ups for missed squads or gun repairs report to the practice trap within 30 minutes of when the last squad takes the line for that event.
6. By entering the competition, every person agrees to accept all official decisions and to abide by ATA rules.
7. Be ready to shoot. Squads will not wait for tardy members. If you miss your squad, report to cashier and be re-squadded on a later squad. If there is no squad available the shooter forfeits all entry and option money.

9. Please check your score before leaving each post. The squad captain (#1 shooter) will total the score after each 25/50 target sub event and initial the score sheet before leaving the trap. Errors made in totaling shall be corrected whenever discovered. All changes will be made in strict accordance with ATA rules.
10. All information needed to award trophies, award monies, and file ATA shoot reports is taken from score sheets, so be sure all information is correct.

RULES AND REGULATIONS1. Should you win or tie for a class in any 16-yard or Doubles event, or earn yardage in any
Handicap event, it shall be your responsibility to report to the classification/handicap counter to have your classification reviewed or yardage increased. Shooters winning or tying for class in events 4 through 12 will be advanced at least one class. In all events that include class advances all shooters (regardless of category) with scores that equal or exceed the score of the class champion will be advanced starting with the next like event. Any shooter whose class or yardage is changed for any reason shall be considered notified when the new class or yardage is posted on the bulletin board.
2. Any shooters failing to carry out rule 1 above or who shoots in a class or a yardage higher or lower than assigned will be subject to disqualification and will not be able to share in any money division or be eligible for trophies.

4. CATEGORY SHOOTERS: At all tournaments where All-American points will be awarded, in any event, shooters may declare only one category (i.e., Lady I, Lady II, Sub Jr., Jr., Jr Gold, Sub-Vet, Vet and Sr. Vet). Any shooter who is tied for Event Champion may shoot off/carry over for the Championship trophy. If a shooter fails in the Championship shoot off/carry over and has declared a Special Category at classification, the shooter will fall back to his/her declared category.
Any shooter who has declared a Special Category at Classification, and whose scores only qualifies him/her for any trophy in his/her Declared Category, will compete for the Category trophy and not for place, class or yardage group.
Any Category shooter whose score does not qualify for a trophy in his/her Category may compete for place, class or yardage group.
5. There will be no class advance until Event #4.
6. REFUND POLICY: Target money will not be refunded once cashiered. Option money can be refunded until the start of the event at which time it becomes non-refundable.

CLASSIFICATION AND HANDICAPShooters who do not have a combined total of 1,000 16-yard targets registered with the ATA in the current and previous year will be advanced at least one class at the discretion of the Classification Committee. Shooters without an established average will be placed in Class B or higher at the discretion of the Classification Committee.
Shooters who do not have a combined total of 1,000 Doubles targets registered with the ATA in the current and previous year will be advanced at least one class at the discretion of the Classification Committee. Shooters without an established average will be placed in Class B or higher at the discretion of the Classification Committee.
Assigned yardage applies during this tournament. Shooters who do not have a total of 1000 Handicap targets registered with the ATA in the current and previous year will be assigned to the 23 yard line or their regular handicap yardage, whichever is greater. Handicap target requirements will be waived for declared Senior-Vets, making them eligible for trophies and monies. Known ability may also be applied by the handicap committee. Shooters who fail to meet the minimum handicap target requirements as described above may shoot “Targets only” from their assigned ATA yardage provided they waive and forfeit all rights to options, purses, added money and trophies including HOA and HAA trophies.
Failure to shoot from the correct handicap yardage will result in score disqualification. It is the responsibility of all shooters to verify that they have been classified at the correct handicap yardage. This includes ALL earned yardage from any prior registered tournament (Rule XII.B.e). Also, any shooter that has ever registered targets in another shooting organization must inform classification BEFORE their handicap yardage has been determined. These shooters will be required to shoot from the greatest documented yardage (Rule VI.C.4). All trophies or monies won for a disqualified score must be returned (Rule XII.B.7). Any yardage earned for a disqualified score will be added to the shooter’s average card (Rule XII.B.8).
Shooters are required to have their 16-yard and Doubles averages computed for use by the Handicap Committee. Any shooter holding a card of another association will be classified at the yardage and class which is the greatest of the cards. The Handicap Committee reserves the right to change a shooters classification at any time deemed necessary.
