We begin our visit with a short stroll in the old city centre. An experi-enced guide provides information about the world-famous Grand’ Place with its unique city hall and splendid guild houses. We continue our ad-venture trail through the capital by coach. Après 60 minutes de route à travers les paysages de Wallonie nous parvenons au Château Modave, un des les plus beaux en Belgique, placé sur un rocher au milieu d'une réserve naturelle. Ici vous apprécierez une excursion guidée par écouteurs. Un déjeuner dans le château vous sera servi (Facultatif ). Après une promenade en autocar par Namur, où nous pouvons admirer le magnifi-que paysage de la citadelle, nous continuons vers Villers Abby, fondé en 1146. Ses ruines majestueuses donnent une merveilleuse idée de la vie des moines à l'époque médiévale. Vous pouvez visiter ce trésor caché à votre rythme.

Here you will enjoy an audio guided tour. A lunch in the castle will be served (Optional). After a drive by Namur , where we can admire the magnificant scenery from the citadel, we’ll go on to the Villers Abby, founded in 1146. Its majestic ruins give a marvel-lous idea of the life of monks in medieval times. You can visit this hidden treasure on your own pace.

Después de 60 minutos de ruta através de los paisajes de Wallonia llegua-mos el Castillo Modave, uno de los más bellos en Bélgica, colocado sobre una roca en medio de una reserva natural. Aquí le gustará una visita audio guiada. Un almuerzo en el castillo será servido (Facultativo). Después de un paseo en autobus por Namur, donde podemos admirar el paisaje magnifico de la ciudadela, continúamos hacia Villers Abby, fundado en 1146. Sus ruinas majestuosas dan una idea maravillosa de la vida de monjes en la época me-dieval. Usted puede visitar este tesoro escondido a su propio paso.

Na een rit van 60 minuten door het Waalse landschap komen we aan bij het Kasteel van Modave, één van de mooiste in België, gelegen op een rots in een natuurreservaat. Hier kunt u genieten van een rondleiding met audio systeem. Het middagmaal is mogelijk in het kasteel (optie). Na een blits-bezoek van Namen, waar u een prachtig zicht hebt vanop de Citadel, gaan we verder naar de Abdij van Villers, opgericht in 1146. Zijn indrukwekkende ruïnes geven een duidelijk idee van het leven van de monniken in de mid-deleeuwen. U kan deze verborgen schat ontdekken op eigen ritme.

Holland is only at a stone’s throw away and nevertheless the country is stri-kingly diff erent. Behind Antwerp, we cross the Dutch border and driving through the endless polders with typical windmills we reach the Amsterdam area. First we visit a traditional craftscentre and get familiar with all that made the glory of Holland : tasty cheese, clogs and beautiful pottery. In the after-noon we visit Amsterdam. We off er you an opportunity to make a boattour along the many picturesque canals (optional) and we have a break and enjoy some free time at the “Damsquare” which is famous for the royal palace.

Un pais tan cerca y tan diferente. Bordeando Amberes llegamos a la frontera Holandesa. Recorriendo el pais llano con las marismas y sus ti-picos molinos llegamos cerca de Amsterdam. Visitamos un centro arte-sanal típico que nos hara descubrir los productos celebres del país : sus sabrosos quesos, los zuecos y la cerámica azul. Por la tarde visitamos Amsterdam. Tienen tiempo libre para hacer un paseo por los canales (opción). Parada cerca de la plaza DAM y tiempo libre.

Holland is zo dichtbij en toch zo anders. We rijden langs Antwerpen en be-reiken de Nederlandse grens. Doorheen het vlakke landschap met zijn ty-pische windmolens bereiken we de omgeving van Amsterdam. Even buiten de stad bezoeken we een artisanale boerderij waar de plaatselijke ambach-ten die Holland beroemd maken nog steeds worden uitgeoefend : lekkere kazen, typische klompen en prachtig aardewerk. ‘s Namiddags bezoeken we Amsterdam. U heeft de tijd om een bootttocht op de grachten te maken (facultatief ). Stop vlakbij het Damplein en vrije tijd.

Anvers, deuxième ville de Belgique et deuxième port européen, a gardé de nombreux témoins de son riche passé. C’est avant tout la ville de P.P. RUBENS, peintre du 17ième siècle mondialement connu. Nous visitons également la Grand’Place avec ses anciennes maisons et la Cathédrale Notre-Dame (entrée incluse). Cette cathédrale contient aussi, parmi ses trésors, deux oeuvres de Rubens: “l’Erection et la Descente de Croix”. An-vers est aussi le grand centre diamantaire. Nous visitons une TAILLERIE DE DIAMANTS. Nous quittons Anvers en faisant une visite dans la partie la plus ancienne du port.

Antwerp, Belgium’s 2nd largest city and Europe’s 2nd largest harbour has kept many memories of its rich past. Above all, it is the city of P.P. RUBENS, worldfamous master of the 17th century. We drive to the Market Square with its ancient houses and Our Lady Cathedral (entrance fee included). This cathedral contains, amongst other treasures, two of Rubens’masterworks: “The Erection of and the Des-cent from the Cross.” Antwerp is also the world’s diamond center. We will visit a DIAMOND WORKSHOP. We will end the tour with a drive through the oldest part of the harbour.

Ámberes es la segunda ciudad más importante de Bélgica y su puerto es el segundo europeo, y aún conserva muchos recuerdos de su riquísimo pasado. Es sobre todo la ciudad de P.P. RUBENS, famoso pintor del siglo XVII. Visitamos de la Plaza Mayor, sus casas llenas de historia y la Catedral de Nuestra Señora (entrada incluida). En la propia catedral existen muchos tesoros artísticos y dos obras importantes de Rubens:”El Erigimiento y el Descendimiento de la Cruz”. Ámberes es además el centro mundial de los diamantes y visitamos uno de sus TALLERES. Quitamos Ámberes con una visita de su puerto en auto-car, para regresar a Bruselas.

Belgiës tweede grootste stad en Europa’s op één na grootste haven, heeft talrijke schatten uit zijn rijk verleden bewaard. Boven alles is het de stad van P.P. RUBENS, wereldberoemde meester uit de 17de eeuw. We rijden naar de Grote Markt met zijn historische gebouwen en de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe-Kathedraal (ingang inbegrepen). Deze kathedraal bevat, naast talrijke an-dere kunstschatten, twee meesterwerken van Rubens : “De Oprichting en de Afname van het Kruis”. Antwerpen is tevens het diamantwereldcentrum en we bezoeken dan ook een DIAMANTSLIJPERIJ. Na een rit in het oudste gedeelte van de haven keren we naar Brussel terug.
