CHRISTMAS EVEA warm welcome awaits your arrival from 3pm with a festive afternoon tea buffet.After unpacking and settling into your room feel free to relax.The evening will begin at 6.00pm with a Champagne and canapés reception in the bar & sitting room. You are then warmly invited to join us for a short ‘Celebration of Christmas’ with carols, poems and prose in our 18th Century Chapel at 6.30pm. A four course dinner will then be served.For those who wish to attend, local churches are close by for Midnight Mass.On returning, mince pies and mulled wine will be served.
CHRISTMAS DAYBreakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs together with a glass of Bucks Fizz will be brought to your bedroom, giving you a chance to perhaps exchange gifts with loved ones in private. A relaxing morning when you may wish to take a stroll along the beach and visit the famous Cobb Harbour, relax in the sitting room with a book or wave watch from your bedroom window. Our traditional festive seven course Christmas lunch begins with a glass of Kir Royale in the bar.Our pastry chef’s handmade mince pies and crackers complete the picture!On Christmas night a light buffet supper will be served in the Alexandra Restaurant.
BOXING DAYFull English breakfast will be served in the Alexandra Restaurant.Time to enjoy the area, Lyme is traditionally a bustling little town on Boxing Day and a great place to walk around and soak up the atmosphere.Black Tie Dinner - you are invited for a pre-dinner glass of award-winning Furleigh Estate, Dorset sparkling, before enjoying chef’s carefully created five course dinner in the Alexandra Restaurant.
27TH DECEMBERFull English breakfast will be served in the Alexandra Restaurant.We then bid you a fond farewell as our festive time together comes to an end.
