Suitable for hazardous gasses and dusty atmospheresHoused in a rugged IP67 stainless steel enclosure, the E1250 indicator can be used with a wide range of Avery Weigh-Tronix ATEX floor scales. In addition, vessels in virtually any application involving volatile materials or hazardous dusts can be weighed, displayed and controlled, both locally or remotely through optional safe area interfaces.

Special applications included as standardGas bottle filling, Liquid filling and multi-ingredient Recipe batches can all be tailored to meet specific requirements and then stored for easy recall in the future.

Power supply to suit your needsPower the indicator via hazardous area approved AC power supply for permanently connected installations or approved DC rechargeable battery pack for mobile or portable applications.

The E1250 features, applications and benefits include:

• IntrinsicallysafeandATEXapprovedforuseinhazardousareas rated Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 (ATEX Directive 94/9/EC).

• Applicationsinclude:liquidgascylinderfilling,mixingand batching volatile chemicals, mixing and batching bulk solids that produce explosive dust mixtures (approximately 75% of dusts are explosive).

• Industriesinclude:chemical&petro-chemical,bulkfoodprocessing (grain stores/flour mills, pharmaceutical). Indeed, any potential explosive area on the surface or offshore.

• SystemcomprisesATEXapprovedindicatorandATEXapproved power supply or ATEX approved battery pack. Output data is sent from the indicator via fibre optic serial ports to the safe area, via optical to RS232/422 transceivers, for printing and/or process control.

• Choosefromarangeofpushbuttonsandsolenoidvalves suitable for installation local to the indicator in the hazardous area for local process control where it is needed.

The E1250 configurable weight indicator can be mounted right alongside the scale or tank to provide operators with a convenient user interface and local weight display for process control and data feedback.
