Chairperson’s MessageOn behalf of the North Sligo Agriculture Show Committee I would like to extend a warm Céad Míle Fáilte to all attending our 72th Annual Show.

Safety and wellbeing of all attending is of the utmost importance to the Committee. We ask you to obey all Safety Signs, Stewards instructions and advice from the Safety Officer.

The Committee are indebted to the numerous property owners for their generosity in providing their facilities.

To our numerous Sponsors who have loyally supported us over the years, a big thank you.

My role as Chairperson is made easier by the enthusiasm and dedication of my fellow Officers and Committee members in the organising of this year’s Show.

To our Stewards and helpers who turn up diligently every year to them Míle Buíochas.

We acknowledge the support from Department of Rural and Community Development and Agriculture and Food to our Show from the Heritage Office of Sligo County Council and Sligo Leader Partnership.

A special welcome to our Judges who always have difficult decisions to make and hopefully all exhibitors will be happy with the outcome.

To the General Public, looking forward to meeting you on the day, hope you all will have an enjoyable visit to the Show.

The Committee has always endeavoured to have a full and varied programme of activities on the day to suit all ages, music choices for all tastes. The headline act is Patrick Feeney with local supporting artists.

I would like to thank all our exhibitors and the public for their continued support.

Finally, the Show Committee are looking forward to the presentation of Scoil Naomh Molaise, An Grainseach under the guidance of their teachers Camilla Harvey and Seamus Connolly who have done a research project on the Hertiage of Grange Village.

The picture shows the Guild members presenting a cheque for €1310.00 and €20 cash to Tom Rodgers and Kieran Woods who represented the Show Committee.

The Drumcliffe I.C.A. ladies fundraise twice a year for Local and National organisations and we would appeal to you to continue to support their efforts.
