Full FlowThe Sioux Chief F2080 fitting system is a PEX expansion system. In an expansion system, the installer expands the PEX pipe end and inserts a fitting. Because the pipe is expanded, there is no water flow restriction from the fitting. This means the system is full flow. For commercial installations, engineered radiant installations, larger diameter installations, mixed use or condo installations (and more), maximizing flow is often important and even specified. Even amongst PEX expansion systems, the F2080 is the best, as its fittings have the widest bore and allow for maximum flow.

Test ReadyThe Sioux Chief F2080 fitting system is designed with a sleeve and fitting combination that is immediately ready to test once joined. FittingsThe Sioux Chief F2080 line of fittings is quality and complete. It satisfies a wide range of project needs — from residential to commercial to industrial. In addition, the fittings are available in all common straights and shapes (directionals). Fitting sizes include large diameter. The fittings are made from the highest quality raw materials and through the highest quality, first world manufacturers. Fittings are available in standard brass and no lead / dezincification resistant brass. Fittings are made to national standards and carry all necessary certifications for installation in radiant heat systems or as no lead plumbing solutions.

SleevesThe Sioux Chief F2080 line of sleeves complements the full range of fitting sizes. These American made sleeves have been engineered to work perfectly with the fitting and tube to form a leak-proof connection. The finished product is beautiful and looks as good as it works. Chrome plated sleeves are available in 1/2" for an upgraded finish.

ValvesThe Sioux Chief F2080 line of valves completes the F2080 full line of products. Valves are available in multiple sizes ranging from 1/2" to 2". Also available are straights, directionals, transitions, etc., on manifolds, stops…and more.

ManifoldsThe Sioux Chief F2080 line of manifolds is the largest line of manifolds in all of rough plumbing. Many contractors learn how to use manifolds to save even more on the total cost of an F2080 system by reducing the number of fittings required for an installation. To make the contractor’s job easier still, manifolds are available in valved or non-valved options and in an array of inlets and outlets.

ToolsThe Sioux Chief F2080 line of tools is complete and quality. While they are engineered to last, the F2080 tools are also simple and intuitive to use. Little training is required to master them. They are available in compact versions for tight spaces. For larger diameter fittings, hydraulic tools are available, making even the largest installations easy and fast. The Sioux Chief F2080 tools are some of the best investments a plumbing contractor can make.


2. Slide F2080 sleeve at least 2" onto the PEX pipe. It must be in the correct orientation. The sleeve end with the machined groove on the outer diameter should load onto pipe first. The sleeve end with the tapered lip on the inner diameter should face toward the fitting.

Installation

1. Cut PEX pipe to the appropriate length for your installation. Make sure the cut is square and free of burrs.

3. Insert expander head of the F2080 combo tool into the PEX pipe. Use a series of pulls on the tool handle to expand the pipe. Rotate the expander head 45 degrees while the head is still inside the pipe and expand again. Hold second, full expansion for five seconds. Release and remove expander head.

4. Insert fitting into the expanded pipe until the fitting’s last barb is 1/16" from the end of the pipe. Mount the compression head forks of the F2080 combo tool onto the fitting yoke (space between the two radial flanges on fitting) and over the pipe behind the sleeve.

5. Compress the F2080 combo tool with a series of pulls on the tool handle. The sleeve will begin to move toward the fitting. Continue compressing until the sleeve meets the surface of the outside fitting flange. Remove the combo tool when complete.

6. Inspect the secured joint. If there are no visible gaps between the sleeve and the fitting flange, your F2080 pipe and fitting connection is complete and ready for a system pressure test.
