Smoking Cessation Course

This evidence-based course, gives individuals the
knowledge & skills to treat & manage nicotine
dependency & help people addicted to smoking to quit.
It helps skill participants to work effectively 1:1 with clients
& conduct smoking cessation clinics. Taking a practical,
evidence based approach, it is taught by a range of
experts in the field.

influence behaviour change in chronic health conditions.

Spirometry Principles & Practice
7 - 8 March 13 - 14 May 8 - 9 August 11 - 12 November
A 2 day course for individuals who want to be able to accurately
perform & interpret spirometry tests. It comprises face to face training, written & practical assessment and a workbook to be completed within 3 months of the course for successful completion.Delivered by expert Respiratory Scientists from The Alfred's TSANZ accredited Lung Function Laboratory, a part of the Physiology Service, Respiratory Medicine, with extensive experience in the field of spirometry practice & interpretation, post course support is available to course participants.

Spirometry Follow-Up Seminar TBC
This day workshop is for health professionals wanting to consolidate their understanding & skill in performing spirometry measurement & interpretation. It will include theory, demonstrations & practical sessions. Delivered by expert Respiratory Scientists from The Alfred's TSANZ accredited Lung Function Laboratory, topics covered include:
