Our facility has an Enhanced Assisted Living License which enables us to care for those who may not yet require nursing home care, yet whose needs exceed traditional Assisted

Living programs. We successfully bridge the gap between Assisted Living Care and a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Our enhanced level of care allows your loved one to “ Age in Place.” They can move into our facility needing a minimal amount of assistance and remain even as their needs change. Our enhanced license allows us to assist the resident in many more

ways than average assisted living facilities.

Rosewood on the Sound’s assisted living care is the ideal solution for seniors that both value their independence and need some assistance with daily activities. We encourage their continued independence through a tailored plan of individual wellness and personal care. Team members are available 24-hours a day for help with bathing, dressing, medication reminders or other activities. Rosewood on the Sound is a comforting, resident-centered facility.

At Rosewood on the Sound, assisted living is about more than providing assistance. It’s about empowering older adults to remain independent and connected. Assisted Living

Our Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) license allows us to provide residents with more care services than a traditional assisted living facility. Our expanded services allow your loved one to stay in our assisted living facility and avoid having to relocate or live in a nursing home.

• Assistance with ambulation, including residents who are wheelchair bound.

Enhanced Assisted Living

Because memory loss affects everyone differently, our memory care program focuses on understanding seniors individually so we can provide the memory loss care they best respond to positively. Our unique single level facility benefits our memory impaired residents. Residents are guided by trained team members though structured, stimulating activities. This unique approach is based on recent research into brain function and helps seniors stay focused, reduces anxiety and strives to slow the progression of further memory loss. We have a beautiful Memory Garden which allows residents to appreciate the outdoors. During the spring and fall we have fresh vegetables and fruits growing which provides residents a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

The warm environment and services we offer make our community a good option for seniors who want to give their normal caregivers/families a break, take vacations and recover after surgery or other medical issues. It’s also a great way to test the waters of senior living. Rosewood on the Sound is a delightful place to call home.

Our guests enjoy the same services, amenities and support as residents, while benefiting from a relaxing, stress-free environment.

Day care is most often requested by families who are caring for elderly relatives while working full-time. Rosewood on the Sound can help with everything from picking-up and dropping-off your loved ones to helping them bathe as well as administering medication and helping with physical therapy. Day Care seniors have full access to the dining, recreational and spiritual services at Rosewood and are considered a vital part of the social fabric of our community.
