Creativity• I define creativity as the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality.

Creativity involves two processes: thinking, then producing. any great ideas come to us in the shower, or at a time when we are away from our work. Many a genius has been known to have their greatest ideas while on vacation.

Most of the time when you are relaxing ideas just pops up on your mind

How are they successful?

•He first went to Britain in 1916, and started a Vogue there, then to Spain, and then to Italy and France in 1920, where it was a huge success

•In 1892 Arthur Turnure founded Vogue as a weekly publication in the United States. •When he died in 1909, Condé Montrose Nast picked up the magazine and slowly began growing its publication. He changed it to a bi-weekly magazine and also started Vogue overseas starting in the 1910s.

The magazine's number of subscriptions surged during the Depression, and again during World War II. During this time, noted critic and former Vanity Fair editor Frank Crowninshield served as its editor, having been moved over from Vanity Fair by publisher Condé Nast.[

•the magazine began to appeal to the youth of the sexual revolution by focusing more on contemporary fashion and editorial features openly discussing sexuality.

•Vogue also continued making household names out of models, a practice that continued with Suzy Parker, Twiggy, Penelope Tree, and others.

•Vogue became a monthly publication. Under editor-in-chief Grace Mirabella, the magazine underwent extensive editorial and stylistic changes to respond to changes in the lifestyles of its target audience.

Vogue Did they inspire you?

The title is a serif font; it makes it look more elegant and is in brown to coincide with the glamour theme.

the bold barkers are sans serif, aimed to stand out more, with the detail in serif.

There is not a lot of written content in the magazine; only a few interviews and features, the majority is photos, therefore there is a need to maintain a high standard to maintain readership.

Cosmopolitan is an international magazine for women. It was first published in 1886 in the United States as a family magazine, was later transformed into a literary magazine and eventually became a women's magazine in the late 1960s.

How are they successful?

•Cosmopolitan (cosmo) first published in 1886. It's longevity is credited to it's constant evolving over the years.

•In July 1965, Cosmopolitan turned from an antiquated general-interest magazine into the most talked about women's magazine in the country with this hot cover.

•Helen Gurley Brown, who was Cosmo's Editor-in-Chief until 1997, changed the magazine world forever by giving women advice on how to have the life they really wanted and publishing articles on provocative subjects.

•It was the height of the sexual revolution and the cover of the magazine began to show a lot of cleavage.

•This trend continued over the years as the content of the articles began to examine topics formerly taboo of a mostly sexual nature.

•Cosmo today has continued along that theme as it made it's foray into the world of fashion and beauty advice.

•Generally aimed at women in their twenties or thirties who are single and have a career this magazine is loaded with great advice. Boyfriend advice, beauty and fashion advice even workplace advice, you can find it all in Cosmo.

•Having celebrities interviews talking about themselves in a personal way, it’s very interesting
