Health Challenge:Old People Monthly Medicine Purchase.

Affected Population:

Who are the people affected by this problem?Colombians older than 60 years that constantly need to purchase medicine at their stores to maintain the recommendations of doctors.

How are they affected?Each month, they have to visit their stores and waste time and effort back and forth. An unpleasant activity for tired and weak people.

Who is indirectly affected?Family and friends can buy the medicine. However, they will have to wait long lines and be constantly aware of the medicines rebuy.

Basis Of The Problem:

Why does it exist?• Antiquate culture.• Poor customer service

from pharmacies.• No EASY solution.

What are the key drivers?• For year 2020, there will

be over 7 million people older than 60 in just Colombia. ¹

• Colombia has the highest prices in medicine. ²

Regionality:

The solution will be tested first in Colombia and if it’s successful it can easily apply to the whole world.

Because of the target (old people) no advance cellphones should be used.

However, a main obstacle will be the distribution structure of medicines in other countries. It can be expensive and wasteful.

Allied Pharmacies:These stores will be key factors

to get the solution known. With a good sales pitch and

showing results, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Low Hanging Fruit:

Antiquate Culture:People have been doing the

same purchase activity during decades. This will not be easy

to change.

Solution Traction:Old people will need to see

enough value in the solution to recommend it and constantly

use it.
