Knowingly, the perspective, structure and operation of India's corporate sector haveundergone drastic changes during the last few years. Waves of economic liberalizationpropelled by advances of information technology and I. T. penetration into every aspectof corporate operation have generated for the sector far reaching implications.
Discipline boundaries as much as the political ones are fast becoming redundant. Adoptionof a multi disciplinary approach for analyzing and understanding complex businessproblems, developing global vision, gaining capability in terms of knowledge, attitudeand skill to continually draft and redraft business strategies using ever expanding knowledgeinputs in an e-enabled decision making environment and at the same time strivingpersistently for precision and excellence at every stage of strategy implementation are theprime prerequisites today for successful accomplishment of corporate growth mission.
The process, system and inputs in DBA-SMS have been designed keeping in view thesedynamics of today's national and global business situations. The focus in DBA-SMS ison imparting the required knowledge and developing the analytical orientation, softskills, attitudes, values and commitment that together mould participants into brilliantorganisation leaders and powerful change agents.
The enabling academic ambience and state of the art teaching-learning infrastructure, theupdated course structure, modules and teaching pedagogy, and, above all, the carefulnurturing by a competent and dedicated faculty go hand in hand in DBA-SMS in ensuringthat the would-be executives coming out from this institution are academically rightly-groomed, culturally sensible and fine-tuned and are mission-oriented, application focussedand value-driven. We condition them to deal successfully with all adversities andchallenging situations. We also try to ensure that they develop an insatiable urge forstriving continually for excellence and acquire the capability to translate individualexcellence into team excellence in organisations.
I heartily invite organisations in the corporate and other sectors to participate in theforthcoming Campus Placement session in this University. I am sure, the youthful, exuberant, innovative and sensible would-be MBAs of this School by virtue of theirintellectual prowess, professional commitment and humane approach will prove theirworth to their respective employing organisations.

distinct advantages:
. Silchar is the Tea Capital of South

geographical distance from metropolitan India. Yet this challenge
has provided the University with an impetus to bridge the gap by
developing closer connectivity through creation of an e-enabled state-
of-the-art campus environment where students can have instant access
