February May 2015 Dear Christian friends, We have good news! Jerwang people are responding to the gospel well. Our evangelists reported that in the past three months 68 people accepted Christ and were immersed into Him. They want me to go twice a year to conduct a short term Bible school for them. Thank you for supporting this effort among the Jerwang people. I recently learned that only 23 percent of the 23 million Lisu in China are Christians. I therefore decided to support evangelism among the Lisu in China as well. With much prayer I selected 3 evangelist to go into Lisu villages to evangelize them. Please pray with me that God will work mightily to bring the Lisu in China into the Kingdom. The Lisu Bible Institute is now in transition to the Lisu Christians and churches. On May the 9 th the Lisu elders and preachers gathered together on the LBI campus and the school was officially turned over into the hands of the Lisu elders. From now on they will manage to run it themselves. I told them that I am not abandoning them, but will serve as an advisor and they can come to me any time. Please pray that LBI will continue to be a center for training young men and women for Christian service for Lisu churches in Thailand.                       February  -‐  May  2015

Dear  Christian  friends,

We  have  good  news!

On  May   the  9th   the   Lisu   elders   and   preachers   gathered  together  on  the  LBI  campus  and  the  school  was  officially  turned  over  into  the  hands  of  the  Lisu  elders.

Turning  LBI  to  the  Lisu  Churches

Now  that  the  Lisu  Bible  Institute  is  turned  over  to  the  Lisu  Christian  leadership,  I  will  turn  my  efforts  to  write  commentaries  on  some  New  Testament  books  which  the  Lisu  preachers  and  churches  have  wanted  me  to  do  for  a  long  time.

I  will  be  coming  to  the  States  for  a  brief  visit  this  summer.  I  am  looking  forward  to  spending  some  time  with  my  family  whom  I  do  not  get  to  see  very  often.  I  will  also  be  able  to  see  a  few  friends  and  supporters  but  this  trip  is  mainly  a  personal  trip.  I  have  struggled  with  some  health  issues  the  past  year  and  too  much  activity  leaves  me  quite  exhausted.  Years  of  over  exertion  may  be  catching  up  with  me,  so  I  am  learning  to  cut  back  my  commitments  and  listen  to  my  body.  I  will  be  dividing  my  time  between  my  children’s  homes  in  Kansas  and  Illinois  as  well  as  a  brief  trip  to  Indiana  to  see  my  forwarding  agents  and  Joplin  to  meet  with  my  board.

Thank  you  all  for  your  prayers  on  my  behalf  and  for  your  faithful  support  of  this  ministry.

Yours  in  Him,

Jesse  Yangmi
