“EXPRESSO”
FRAbout Expresso - The Literary and Arts Club of NIT PatnaExpresso has its roots since 2010 when a great culture of Parliamentary Debate was established in NIT Patna with heated debates and it gained a new momentum back in 2019 by the collaborative efforts of students as they initiated MUNs and a lot more literary and arts events. From hosting Expresso Matinees to collaborating with Hazelnuts, Macchiato and Cappuccino, the club has been striving hard to drive the creative youth towards Literature and Arts through its events and workshops. The club has been focusing on the importance of Communication, Building Presentations, and involvement in Creative Vision by various Literary Events including Debates, MUNs, Ice Breaking Sessions, and providing a platform for all the artistic hands to spread colors all around. Expresso is all set to reach new milestones with its events, Splash Literati series and collaborations.

FRThe Café MUNThe Cafe MUN encourages the idea of evolving the students in the form of debates, discussions, research, negotiation and various other things which gives them an edge about the situations at odds.
Model United Nations is an academic stimulation which consists of variegated learning topics such as International Relations, Foreign Policies and most of all, diplomacy.
This organization helps the delegates from different corners of the world to connect with each other, debate, widen their horizons, negotiate, interact and at last come to resolutions with one another for the benefit of all.
We work with the objective of teaching students more about critical thinking, public speaking, leadership, team work, analysis and eventually about the official working of the United Nations through our Partner Conferences, Blogs, Podcasts and Delegate Resources.
FRModel United NationsMUN or Model United Nations is a s imulat ion of the United Nations for students . I t is where students try to solve real l i fe problems which are actually discussed in the United Nations from the point of v iew of a country assigned to you. You have to fol low a very formal procedure just l ike real diplomats do.
Delegates receive an al lotted committee and country along with a topic During the days of the conference, they are a representat ives of that country and have to propose their country’s point of v iew and solut ions.
Countries which are al l ies in the real world often form al l iances or countries with a s imilar mind set for the topic work together. The outcome is a resolut ion or a formally written solut ion paper which the ent ire committee votes on based on whether they agree to the points or not .
We, at the Asia International Summit , take privi lege and pride in host ing 3 prest ig ious committees which we bel ieve wil l surely bring out the best in the delegates we would welcome.
The simulat ions for this chapter of the AIS are as fol lows:
•Defense
•Human Rights
•Climate Change
