MEDANTA: ( Healthcare)

The Medicity is one of India’s largest multi-super specialty institutes located in Gurgaon, a bus-tling town in the National Capital Region. Founded by eminent cardiac surgeon, Dr. Naresh Tre-han, the institute has been envisioned with the aim of bringing to India the highest standards of medical care.

Spread across 43 acres, the institute includes a research centre, medical and nursing school. It has 1250 beds and over 350 critical care beds with 45 operation theatres catering to over 20 specialties.

CHAITHANYA HEALTH CARE PARK: ( Healthcare)

The proposed chaithanya health care park is located in Whitefield area of Bangalore, an IT hub as it popularly known. The total area of proposed campus is 8.82 Acre & allowed built-up area will be 7.72 Acre, the expected built up area in phase-1 will be 12 lac sq.ft.This multi- speciality hospital includes four distinguish In patient Block dedicated respectively for, Women & child, Oncology, Ortho & Cardio and one for Multispecialty. It has 600 bed & 200 critical care bed.It has 15 departments & 15 Operation theatre & 3 Cath lab. This hospital will be one its own kind & state of art hospital in India.

My Role: Project Architect ( India)

I worked very closely with Client & entire team of Ellerbe Becket DC ( An AECOM Company). I was involved in the benchmarking of Indian Hospitals, Medical space program, Medical space planning, code research, Medical equipment selection, and in various discussion with stakeholders.I manage to get all the statutory approval for this project & all the schematic documentation. I coordinated between three continents ( Asia, Europe & USA) of consultants & successfully completed the schematic stage work.

ASHIMA MALL: ( Mix Use & Retail)

Ashima Mall is located in Bhopal on Bhopal- Hoshangabad Road. Spread over 5 Acre,It accom-modates a 50,000 sq.ft. Hypermarket at lower ground floor, 6 anchor shop at first three floors along with smaller shops, a food court & Family entertainment at third floor. 9 theatre multiplex (Cinepolis) from fourth floor & six floor of commercial tower for office.Ashima Mall is in successful operation from 2011,It is a well-known destination of Bhopal.

I worked from concept ( to the first brief of Client & space program) to the final outcome. I was involved in preparing & examining several retail format, understanding the feasibility of space allocation. Leading & completing the documentation stages i.e. Schematic Design, Design devel-opment & Construction document as well as tender & municipal approval drawings.

Ashima Mall is one of the well-known & leading destination mall of Bhopal.

INTERGRATED COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AT SEAWWOD RAILWAY STATION: ( Mix Use & Retail)

Integrated commercial development at Seawood Railway station is one of the largest architec-ture projects in India at the moment. It’s a transit oriented development, It involves refurbishing the existing Seawood railway station & developing 12 lac sq. ft. of retail, & 28 lac sq.ft. of Com-mercial tower on adjoining land. The 40 acre of land next to railway station is awarded to L&T by CIDCO in year 2008 under public private partnership.This project accommodates a brand new suburban railway station with 8 platforms, 3200 under-ground parking, 12 lac sq.ft. of retail spread over 4 floors. (One Hypermarket, Six Large Anchor shops, nineteen theatres, Large FEC area, Fifteen hundred seater food court & two commercial towers).

My Role: Principal Architect

I am a principal architect & chief coordinator for this on-going mega architecture project. Thisinvolves communicating with client, coordinating with principal designer HOK USA & coordinating with all external & in-house consultants (which includes vetting MEP, STRUCTURE drawings).

I am also responsible for Construction documentation of Architecture deliverables & leading a team of 25 architects in L&T’S Powai, Mumbai office. We are responsible for construction docu-mentation & this involves the coordination with all in house sub consultants ( Structure & MEP) & architecture detailing.

BLUE-RIDGE: (Mix Use & Retail)

Blue- ridge is a well-known completed project in Hinjewadi area of Pune developed by Paranjape developers. Spread over 80 Acre out of which 25 Acre is designated as SEZ (Special Economic Zone). It consists IT office space, Hospitals, Institutes, service apartment & High-rise apartment around the golf course. ECADI along with the Fairwood consultants are the designer of the project.

My Role: Associate in Schematic Design

I worked very closely with Shanghai’s premier firm ECDAI in order to complete the schematic stage work of this mega project. My job involved in explaining the context, local guidelines &Indian approach towards the high-rise residential apartments. I was stationed in Shanghai & came out with a final print of schematic design (which got client’s approval). I was only involved during the schematic design phase.However, it gives me immense pleasure to see the project getting completed with the original design intent intact.

MANVAR: (Hospitality)

Manvar is a well-known resort located on Jodhpur- Jaiselmer road. This resort is constructed in two phase (first between 1995-1997 & second between 1998-2000). It has currently a boutique 40 Guest room’s cottage, along with two fine dining restaurants & a swimming pool. It also ex-tends 20 tent cottages during the peak tourist time. The entire design of the resort is based on traditional village construction of this area & unique in every sense.This project has won prestigious Indian architecture award for Hospitality pinnacle by A+D in Year 2001.

I successfully integrated the very personalised design into Schematic design, Design development & construction document. I closely monitored the construction pro-cess.This is one of my early, but well known & satisfying project. This project published many time in leading Indian Architecture journals.

PULLMAN: (Hospitality)

Pullman is a well-known four star hotel located on the outskirts of New Delhi Capitol region in Gurgaon. The Pullman is well known brand of Accor Hospitality, It’s a part of Accor chain of ho-tels in India. It has 285 Keys, 3 speciality restaurants coupled with bars. It also offers several high end facilities & services.

Century Magnum is boutique project of well-known developer of Bangalore i.e. Century devel-opers. This project is located in the heart of Bangalore, near MG road, It’s small plot of .5 Acre. It involves 5 basement level of mechanical stacked car parking, first two level will be occupied with a retail showroom & then 6 level of office floor. ( Every floor willhave 10,000 sq.ft. of office space)

REDWOOD RESIDENCY: ( High-Rise Residentail)

Redwood Residency is high-rise residential development located in sector-78 of Faridabad (New Delhi Capitol Region). This residential society aims to provide the shelter for middle in-come group of people of New Delhi Capitol region. Spread over 12 Acre of land, It have 4 towers with stilt & 19 floor ( 6 apartment per floor)and another 3 tower with stilt & 14 floor ( 8 apartment per floor). It has 396 three bed room apartment & 304 two bed room apartment, overall it accom-modates 700 apartments in seven high-rise towers. It’s developed by a well known construction house named ERA Landmark
