Title: “Bioremediation of Liquid and Solid Wastes using Microorganisms”In the doctoral research program the major objectives have to be taken are:

1. To evaluate the heavy metals in solid and liquid wastes and other

chemical analysis of samples.

2. Isolation and characterization of micro-organisms from wastes with the

ability to degrade the heavy metals and other pollutants.

3. To study bioremediation activity of these microorganisms in solid as

well as liquid medium.

4. Induction of mutation in selected microbes and optimization of physical

as well as physiological parameters for enhanced bioremediation.

5. Analysis of bioremediation of liquid as well as solid wastes through ICP-

Mass Spectrophotometer in order to the metal reduction.

6. Eco-toxicity test for recovered and selected microbes.

7. To make use of the waste as farmyard/composted manure.
