• Employee agrees to keep private any intellectual property of the company

documents before signing. This is a free service to students.
Managing Offers/ Deadlines

Managing Offers/ Deadlines: Reneging
Renege: (verb) to fail to carry out a promise or commitment
• Never accept a job with the intention of turning it down if
“something better” comes along
• After careful consideration and accepting an offer you
should stop looking, inform other employers and not accept
further interviews
• Always report your offer to ECS
Students who renege on a job offer will be evaluated by
ECS on a case-by-case basis. Reneging is grounds for
exclusion from ECS programs/ services.
