Projects

1. Zimply - 'Home Shopping and Ideas'This application was developed as a part of my Internship and Job at Zimply. We developed this in a team of 3/4 people.This application has Google Analytics integrated in quite intensive way.I implemented PayU seamless Payment portion in this application.It is an ecommerce application where users can purchase home decor and related items. Some products can also be booked for OFFLINE visit at store before making a purchase, called Book Visit Feature.Added Google Cloud Messaging to increase app reach. A complete ecommerce application.We used customized Apache HttpCore for server requests, and this was the same code that is used in Zomato (android application - production), with more customization according to our requirements .

2. Instirepo - 'Student Teacher Interaction' Instirepo is a platform where students and teachers can share notes, knowledge, news, announcements, assignments, images or any content with each other. They can select the audience for every post - i.e whether they want their post to be visible to selected batches, branches, academic years or selected professors. They can save their choices of these visibilities for quick access later. Hence all college related data is available at a dedicated, secure place which makes it easy to keep track of all college content. They can also chat with other users. The posts can be upvoted, downvoted, followed (to get notifications) , reported as spam, commented, saved as favorite. Also, users who have viewed a particular post are also visible for each post. While uploading post, user can choose category among events, polls or general posts and based on the category selected, corresponding layout is shown. Also, there is a ecommerce part in this application, where users can upload products that they want to sell and then other users can contact them through the app ir they want to purchase that product. Complete application can be run offline(if data available in cache i.e viewed at least once).

Implemented material design, pleasing animations and Django for backend. Included animations as seen in Google Play Newsstand, Yahoo News Digest. Made use of circular reveal animation to create nice visual animation effects.

3. BookNCart - 'Books ecommerce' BookNCart is a ecommerce application to purchase books which are uploaded by admin. The backend for this application was made using Django. Books can be searched, viewed, purchased. Recently viewed books are saved and shown to users. Books can be marked favourite.

Included animations as seen in Flipboard, Facebook, Google Play Newsstand, Pinterest.

4. Faceless-'anonymous office 'Faceless is a platform to enable anonymous discussions in a Company or startup or any workplace. The application had login/signup flow like that of Slack. The difference was that every user activity was anonymous to enable free and honest flow of information in company to enable top management to get to know about grievances and problems faced by their employees. Multiple chat channels can be created and then users of that company can chat their anonymously with all employees. Hence it was an anonymous group chat. Chats are appended real time using GCM. Also, users can create posts content to create posts. Messages can be reported as spam. This application was built as a part of Hackathon (TIE Hackathon) in just one day, with backend part using Django.

5. Twitter Hashtag SearchMade a simple application that could be used to search posts having tags searched by user from Twitter. Used Twitter api to fetch posts and for authentication. Posts are updated real time by querying for new posts and updating the application if new posts are found from Twitter api.

6. Zimply_In_Shorts_News Made an application having design like that of popular application 'InShorts' where news is fetched from server and also, after every 10 news posts, a Zimply webpage is also there and then next 10 news and so on. Added viewpager animation like that in InShorts. This application was built in just 3 hours, including new project setup in android studio, server request through Volley, viewpager animation and opening Webview for showing Zimply website.

7. Zimply_Question_Answer_Yes_NoMade an application having design and animations like that of Tinder where user is shown a set of 5-6 cards and each card can be swiped left /right or buttons with cross and tick like in Tinder. The card swipe animation was implemented using open source library and then further optimised according to requirements. Added android native animation code for touch interaction that happens when touched/clicked on buttons below cards.

8. Zimply_Experts_ApplicationThis application was to connect users with home design experts and architects. Users could chat with architects. For chatting, we used PubNub SDK. Photos and articles posted by architects were also shown to users in their news feed.

9. MyExcel - simple daily task management

This application is a simple task management application where you can create, edit and delete items, called Works. For each work, multiple Details items can be created, edited and deleted. This was completed in about 10 hours and is a simple application, with material design and backend in Django, useful only for specific audience. It is like using a mobile application instead of excel for filling data based on daily activity for progress report.

10. Bluetooth ChattingMade simple chat application that used Bluetooth to connect to different devices. Had plain UI and normal chat functionality.

11.Restuarant management system and android applicationMade JAVA console application for restuarant management project. It included three user levels-chef, admin and customer. There were three different JAVA app for each user level. Multiple users could connect due to mukti threading. All were connected using java sockets. Also, an android application was there for customers where they can place order by selecting items and their quantity from the menu, which was fetched from server. The android app also used sockets to connect to JAVA application on the host computer. It was a local server based system.

1. Buildmlearn : Buildmlearn Tooklit AndroidPorted application from eclipse to android studio, extended activities from AppCompatActivity instead of deprecated ActionBarActivity. Restructured code into correct packages. Removed redundant code and made a single file for all functionality that was used repeatedly. Removed unused images. Implemented material design. Added activity transitions. Corrected and improved application back stack and UX. 4. Parallax EverywhereFound and corrected a quite strange bug where when using this component in a ListView, and loading images from server, and placing a placeholder image till the

image loads, after the image loads, the image was getting transition more than the maximum limit that It should translate. This has been solved by me and pull request is open on the repository :https://github.com/Narfss/ParallaxEverywhere/pull/12
