Before using the FrescaPure™ BioFreeTurntheleverthatisaffixedtothesupplieddivertervalvetotheopenposition.ThiswillenabletapwatertoflowthroughtheFrescaPure™BioFree.AllowwatertoflushthroughtheFrescaPure™BioFreefortwominutes(approximatelyfivelitersofwater).FrescaPure™BioFreecartridgeswithactivatedcarbonmaycontainsmallcarbonparticles,whichcouldresultinaslightlydarkdiscolorationofthefirstfewlitersofwater.Checkthetubingandconnectorforpossibleleaks.

rePlacInG tHe FrescaPure™ BIoFree cartrIdGeReplacethefiltercartridgeevery12months,1000gallonsorwhenyounoticeasignificantreductionintheFrescaPure™BioFreewaterpressure.Theneedforearlyreplacementisnotusuallyaresultofafilterdefect,butratherapossibleindicationofpoorqualityofthewatersupply.

Removethecartridgefromtheheadbyrotatingit90degrees.Thebuilt-invalvesintheheadwillshutoffthewater.Usedfiltercartridgescanbedisposedofasnormalwasteorwithyourotherrecyclablematerial.Followtheinstructionsformountinganewcartridge(figure3and4).
