Galatasaray and Paris Saint Germainhave successfully appealed decisions, rendered by the UEFA AdjudicatoryChamber against the clubs, to havepreviously closed FFP cases re-openedfor further investigation into the clubs'compliance with FFP Regulations. The clubs successfully argued thatArticle 16(1) of the UEFA CFCBProcedural Rules only allows for a 10day review of a decision. In both cases,UEFA had taken the decision to reviewthe original judgments out with the 10day period. The CAS Panel held that the 10-day timelimit runs from the date ofcommunication of the original decision. As such, the decision to re-open thecases were untimely, in both cases, andthus must be annulled.
