Dear colleagues and clinic owners:

The Board would like to thank Dr. Jerry Kirby for his years of service as the District 2 member. We would also like to welcome and congratulate Dr. John Neill on his election as the new member from that District. The 2013-14 Renewal period is now complete. If you have not renewed your license or permit it has now lapsed, please contact the Board office for in-structions on reinstatement. You must not practice or offer services in your office without a current license or per-mit. If you do so, you will be in violation and could face disciplinary action. Please also be very aware of the solicitation rule (Rule 190-X-5-.06) and the use of runners in your practice. Fail-ure to follow the guidelines stipulated there regarding contacting accident vic-tims could also result in disciplinary ac-tion against your license.

The Board has recently become aware that there are some questions regarding performing massage in your practice. The only person permitted to perform massage in your office without obtaining a massage therapy license is a DC. You may not allow your office staff to perform massage under your chiro-practic license. Please notice the new renewal process outlined on page 5. This pro-cess will begin with the 2014-15 renew-al. Finally, based on a new AG opinion issued to the PTs a DC cannot advertise physical therapy or hold them self out to perform physical therapy. We hope you had a happy holiday and wish you the best in 2014. Gerald Collins, D.C. President ASBCE

THANK YOU FOR YOUR POSITIVE COMMENTS

Love the new website! - Dave

I would like to Thank You for all of your help. I am sure I have been a pest over the past several weeks & you have only responded with kindness. - Sloan

I wanted to let you know what a tremendous help Amy has been to me. From my first call for help with the website to my last call she has been wonderful. Her customer service was excellent. We deal with licensing agencies for many areas. Some are more helpful than oth-ers. Today was my first time learning about the requirements for chiropractors. I started off with a need to primary source a license and ended up with an education on the process from your great staff. During the rush of business we often don’t take the time to recognize those

who make a difference. Amy was extremely helpful and I wanted you to know. - Kathey
