Vietnam War

As a daughter of a Vietnam War Marine that was consider Killed in Action in the biggest political war. It was considered the ten thousand day war. There were over 500,000 US troops through out the war and over 800,000 South Vietnam troops against over 200,000 North Vietnamese troops. United States had58,220 dead; 1,719 missing; 303,635 wounded.

Introduction

• The task will be to pick one of the battles that are enclosed.

• You will have to research about the battle more then just finding out how many died or were wounded and when it started. The paper should include who, what, where, when, and why it happened.

• I would like you to write a research paper on the battle plus I would like you to do one of the following either use glogster.com, sliderocket.com, photopeach.com, or you can use regular power point to show pictures and to present your battle.

• Before you start the research please let me know which battle you will be researching

•Siege of Khe Sanh- is a 77 day battle of US with South Vietnam against North Vietnamese Army•The US was defending the Khe Sanh airstrip while being surrounded by the North Vietnamese Army.
