Funds support state colleges/universities and federally recognized tribes that address reduction or elimination of pollution across all environmental media (air, land, and water) and strengthen efficiency and effectiveness of state technical assistance programs in providing source reduction information to businesses. Funds also support efforts to identify, develop, document and share pollution prevention best management practices and innovations. Applicants encouraged to establish partnerships with businesses and environmental assistance providers. A 50 percent match is required. Competitions are every two years.
