SCULPTURE is a 3-Dimensional artwork which may be made through different processes such as carving, modeling, assembling or casting. It may be executed as free-standing object, in relief, or in environment. A variety of media may be used, including clay, fabric, metal, plaster, plastic, porcelain, wax, wood, rubber, stone, found objects and other synthetic or fabricated materials.

CARVING◦ a sculpture is created by removing excess material on a

medium (wood, ivory or stone) in order to create desired shape.

also called round sculpture which may be viewed from more than one position like statues.

This monument is "a gift of The Korea Freedom League and Poongsan Microtech Philippine, Inc. in Appreciation and Honor of the memory of Freedom-Loving Filipinos Who Sent their Sons to Help Save Korean Democracy" (during the Korean War in the early 1950's).
